  1. I will thank you! Why didn't I think of that
  2. Hey Guys Trying to problem solve a issue I have currently. Car is a xr6t ute, zf 6speed auto. I'm suspecting either gearbox (rebuilt stronger, 80,000kms old) or diff - which is a harrop truetrac. Ute has a built tailshaft which has been checked over recently and can be eliminated from the equation. Out of the blue, driving along vibrations/shuddering coming upto 60kms an hour... Parked it up on jack stands - same thing, all good upto 60kms. Next day, drove it on the street. Was fine for the first 5 mins then bang/shunt which felt like from the rear... Can't go over 10kms an hour now. Any ideas or tests I can do to determine which workshop to tow it to?
  3. Hi Guys I have a FG XR6 turbo, problem is when its cold the car has trouble starting. Sound's like the starter motor loses power then regains it in a split second. Does this for a little while until finally (5 seconds) the motor actually turns over and is firing. No issue at all starting the car up while it's warm, it also drives smooth as silk (cold or hot) Battery is now brand new, made no difference. Any Ideas??
  4. Any updates on the situation? I'm looking at getting one the kayhan units for my car, but.... 😬😬😬
  5. Hi Guys I'm having issues with my brake lights. The taillights work, but one side is brighter than the other. This can alternate to the other side, with a simple jiggle of the light bulb. Globes are new Also when the brake is pressed only one brake light is illuminated. I'm assuming it's a earthing issue, my question is whwreabouts do I look/clean up the contacts. Car is a 2014 MK11 XR6 Turbo ute
  6. Sweet thanks mate, the same wheels I mentioned also come in a +30 offset. You reckon this offset will provide enough clearance
  7. I'm yet to jack it up and have a look.. I've been using the willtheyfit calculator online. Which has the same measurements you got. I was after confirmation someone has fitted some 18inch, by 9 wheels
