  1. Bit of an update. Still nothing broken. Pretty miraculous. It's going in next week to have an interior freshen up. Aeropro ICC replacement, new Polk speakers, rewire of some stuff. I don't really care about car audio because I'm always listening to the engine, but its all part of having this car super neat and tidy
  2. How did you go man? I did 6/4 brembos on the sedan. Obviously different, but no issues
  3. Fair point, I'll see what I can do. 0-100 will not be quick haha. It's been quiet on here lately...
  4. Managed to get out today briefly. Warmer temps in Canberra made a huge difference to traction. Managed to get 2nd and 3rd gear down, on the 3/4 setting (around 20psi, maybe 550kw or so). She's pretty quick when it hooks up haha. The G35-900 is pretty epic for a street driven manual. No waiting for boost, and still on like a light switch at lower load in 2nd gear, which is what makes it fun in my opinion.
  5. I've got the same injectors too. It should do 650kw easily
  6. Hopefully she's sorted! Looking forward to seeing results. You aiming for 1000rwhp?
  7. Ok, apologies for the delay. I've finished converting most lines to nylon braided PTFE, including the conversion to a fully billet thermostat housing. Much neater I think. I've retained the header tank for now, but I have a header delete top thermostat housing which I might do later down the track, but only with a radiator upgrade. Coolant temps are rock solid, so no issues.
  8. Yeah, you have to cut it and install the hardine to AN adapter. It was easy to cut with a little pipe cutting tool. Nice and neat
  9. Your water feed is probably at the front, so easy to access. Mine was routed around the back when the engine was out. The hardline underneath the intake manifold wasn't too bad, I just hope the AN to pipe adaptor doesn't leak...
  10. Ok, halfway through, but this should give an indication of what it looks like. I've retained the factory coolant overflow and just need to connect up the turbo water line. Easier said than done because mine's routed around the back of the motor. Bit of a learning process for me. I've also done full AN4 lines for boost control, but the AN10 lines for the coolant pipe under the intake manifold were a bit of a pain to make... the olive just didn't want to seat, and I frayed the braided line a bit trying to get it perfect. Anyway, looks tidier.
  11. Yeah I've got the billet lower and upper thermostat housings to convert it all, including the hardline AN10 adapter. Good luck with the screamer man
  12. Annoying man, but good pick up. Might be worth trying the nord lock washers. I need to get to work on my car. I'm half way through tidying up various lines. Coverting boost control silicone lines to braided AN lines, and I'm tidying up water lines. I hate the factory turbo waterline, so converting that to braided AN all the way. Not sure if I'm going to remove the header tank or not...
  13. I've run both Dex 3 and the Penrite Pro gear oil (different cars, same TR6060 box) and haven't noticed any real difference in shift quality
  14. I think I posted pics of mine. In front of passenger side strut tower. Same reason as you
  15. It's not a great price, but its not terrible. Just remember you'll have to change all bushes at a minimum. Few hundred in that
  16. Probably not man. I think your biggest struggle will be reliability for drifting. Big iron block holds lots of heat, long stroke provides torque, but doesn't really like bouncing off limiter. I think the barra is a great motor, but more so for drag or cruising. Not so much circuit work or drifting. Unless you really go to town on cooling and limit boost significantly. Just my opinion
  17. Have you considered something like this: https://golebysparts.au/products/atomic-performance-products-my2021-atomic-streetorquer-475-long-engine
  18. $10k is 2/3 of a basic engine build these days hey
  19. You've pushed the spool rods to some impressive numbers!
  20. That Pulsar turbo is a good option if you replace the stock low mount.
  21. I think most of the piston/rod combos are pretty decent. Are you building it yourself?
