Nothing wrong with dashmats. Every car, my dad would get seat covers & a dashmat. Always felt a bit like plastic covers over the lounge suite in the good sitting room to me 😅 Picked this up from SCA. Around $50 for members. The car spends most of its time outside so thought I should get some protection before the dash starts splitting open

I got a bit excited by rotaty thingos when I took time off earlier in the year & picked up a bunch of stuff. Most of it Ryobi, some new, some off marketplace or Cashies. Got a couple of impact drivers, 3/8" ratchet, 1/2" impact wrench, compact hammer drill, an SDS hammer drill (THAT'S what I needed for making holes in concrete). Cashies can be a great source for cheap skins once you're into a particular ecosystem

popped some Superpro control blades in the FG this afternoon. I swapped in some Kings SSLs a couple of weeks ago and suddenly it developed a real clunk in the back end. Assumed that I'd screwed something up since the noise started right around that time. Turns out the OEM blades were flogged. So now, I'm low, smooth and it's not as squirrely in rear when putting the power down. So it's like I've added HP too.

I've found a few airbox kits that provide an optional BOV return in the intake pipe. But didn't see them until after I'd ordered the Antz kit. Might have to see if I can find someone who can weld one on for me because that looks much better than my idea to feed it into a hole in the airbox

Awesome. Thanks for the quick response. I was actually thinking of maybe using an o-ring (so the clamp doesn't scratch up the box) & clamp on the hose inside the box to prevent it popping out. But wasn't sure if pressures might be so great that the clamp would just fly off anyway. Sounds like it should work just fine.

so I've just installed the Antz turbo side airbox & battery relocation kit. Happy with the way it all turned out. But I'm not a fan of dose so I want to throw the BOV back in and plumb it back to the airbox. I have 2 questions: what kind of 25mm hose do I need? Does it matter?can I just run the hose into the airbox, maybe drill a hole in the side & feed the hose in? I don't imagine the recirculated air is going to be super high pressure. Or for this application, does it need a proper fitting?

that's so cool. I liked your earlier 360 video too. I'd show the wife but she'd spend the entire drive watching your dog. I like 360 video. A gear reviewer on YouTube took a 360 cam to NAMM (National Association of Music Manufacturers) a while back. He was walking around the convention centre with the camera on a stick and viewers could swing around to look at the guitars and stuff that they wanted to. I used the wifie's Samsung VR to watch it and it was almost like looking around myself

hi, new here. Have been browsing the site for years for tips & info but figured it was time to pull my finger out and register. After owning a couple of nice BF XR6s, I've finally got myself a turbo and updated to an FG XR6T. Only upgrades so far are a set of Niche Vossos & a K&N panel filter
