  1. Hey guys the photo below is the current dose pipe setup I’m running, (half silicon and half aluminium) The dose is not as loud and high pitched as what I am wanting would getting a custom made piece of aluminium Removing all the silicon make a difference and would fitting a larger k&n filter do anything?
  2. Hey all about to get a whole heap of mods done to my T and am debating between hollowing out my original cat or replacing it with a hi-flow. I live in Tasmania so do not have to worry about emissions or anything. I want a bit more noise from my car and was wondering if hollowing it out would be the way to go. Cheers
  3. It’s directly in front of the turbo blocking access for a dose pipe where the battery would usually sit. I posted a photo above
  4. Hey mate sorry for the late reply, here is a photo mind the dirty engine bay and tape job
  5. Hey all I was planning on putting a dose pipe on my Bf xr6t, I relocated my battery behind my bumper and didn’t realise that the cold side piping would still be in the way of fitting my dose pipe. What is the cheapest option to move the piping to give me the room. Cheers
  6. I understand that the dose pipe is for sound not performance but I didn’t think a built air box can still get that nice high pitch flutter sound that a dose pipe offers. Would a dose pipe reduce performance by much?
  7. Hello, I picked up a FG xr6T last weekend and am planning on putting a dose pipe on it and was wondering where the best place to put it is? Im aware that if I put the dose pipe near the battery and power steering, it will suck in too much hot air and will reduce performance. If I got the battery relocation kit and put the dose pipe and pod filter where the battery usually sits would it not suck in as much hot air and not loose any power?
