  1. So I went e85 recently with supporting mods on a new gt3582 CHRA external gate, 0.5 cover. manual on a hub dyno made 652hp/486kw keen to actually see what it runs and how happy the dyno is. What are rough mph 1/4 for similar power? Cheers

  4. I’ve got a blowoff valve, isn’t it suppose to dump all the air out so it can spool up straight away under the right load and rpm? or is recirculating actually performance enhancing ? I’ve got a ceramic twin plate and I feel like that slows the shifts also 😂😂 thank you!
  5. Hi all, obviously there is lag.. more so in a manual. after shifting from 3rd into 4th my bov works dumps the air but feels like it takes too long to get back into the boost. While my xr8 has torque after every gear change if you’re in the right rpm range. Is this just the norm with manual and barras or could I set the bov up better so it gets back into boost quicker? 530hp manual fg xr6t
  6. Thanks for your reply… would you know which one would be appropriate and efficient for a 98 car that’s doesn’t have a built engine 😂 g35-900 or 1050? You wouldn’t really be able to get much more then 420kw on 98 safely even then it’s pushed to its limit of the engine? cheers
  7. I’ll have to have a browse cheers… I’ve read the gen2 is 66mm and has more lag more suited for e85 to get bigger numbers but 98 is all ill ever see unfortunatly… I have heard good things bout the g35 range though
  8. Old thread I know… but does anyone know if fitting a gtx gen 1 3582 core into a gt3582 is much better on 98 or only tiny gains? As it’s already tuned with all sup mods (400kw)… I’ve read that the gtx g1 is a 62.5 mm billet wheel and the gt3582 has a 61mm cast wheel? Assuming maybe a slightly slower spool but more top end again but seeing it’s only on 98 you might not be able to squeeze much more out? But on e85 you’d see much higher gains out of the billet wheel compared to the cast? or is there a newer turbo set up that has quicker spool again and even better top end for 98 these days… 😂 cheers..
  9. Hey lads, recently got the fg tuned up to 546hp, was not registered at the time, so tuner couldn’t take it for a road tune, but I’ve noticed a hunting at idle, it comes and goes runs smooth then a bit lumpy? Is it running rich at idle ?
  10. Cheers, would you think with ph4500 and the stock cat the engine light would come on also(running Xforce cat back) what headers are the Xforce for n/a? Ph4500? Or their own?
