Woops I sent the wrong one, https://www.efisolutions.com.au/bosch-pressure-temp-map-sensor-tmap-4.0-bar-sensor. This was the Tmap I was going to get. I am running a haltech PNP in the car now so not sure if I will need to upgrade both or if doing one is sufficient.

Hi All, Just about finishing up on my new build and I currently only have a 3 bar map sensor, looking to upgrade to a 4 bar (https://www.efisolutions.com.au/bosch-pressure-sensor-4.0-bar-intercooler-pipe-loc), however am wondering if I will also need to upgrade my boost sensor pre throttle body also?

Yeah hopefully man, Just putting some k’s on the engine and got a new set of clutches in the zf also so need to get it all run in before I hit the dyno. I only got a Set of 1650 injectors on it so around the 650rwkw mark for now will be the aim.

Hi all, just fitting a pulsar g42 with a high mount manifold and am trying to sort out the oil return situation, just looking to see what fittings people are using for high mount setups, Was looking at the attached photo however I read a post on Facebook of guy using a similar fitting and not working. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Okay perfect thanks for the reply!! Turns out the clearances where to lose so have had to get a new set of bushes and machine it all up to suit.

Has anyone had experience with spool rods, Have taken the Gudgeon Pin sleeve out and have this rough finish. Is this normal or should this been machined?

Nah nothing yet, Few delays. Hopefully engines finished soon.

Yeah very lucky, thankfully got a new crank coming tomorrow. Called ford yesterday and very surprised the quick turn around. Currently running a Ross race series balancer.

Engine is currently out for a few things in preparation for a g42, however the only issues we have come across has been the following. -Crank has a few cracks in it, unsure how long they have been there, the noise was their from day one. -Genuine tensioner seemed as if it was not holding enough tension on the guide and the chain had a slight movement to it. -Two lifters where stuck in and had to be forced out. Other than that the engine looks good so take what you will from that regarding the sound we are hearing, but as puff said most of the sound is from valve train/piston to bore clearance. I’ve thrashed the car and am confident that it’s all good, however if after getting new lifters and a new genuine tensioner and unfortunately a new crank fixes the sound I will definitely let you know if it fixes anything.

Pulled the engine out for a freshen up before the new turbo goes on, very lucky it was done now as we found some nice cracks on the crank. I only raced it a few weeks ago so very very lucky, could have been a sh*t show.

Turns out my engine builder has a few spares laying around also, just wanted to see if I could source some new ones. Thanks heaps for the offer bud, appreciate it [emoji106]

Hi All, Just in the process of getting the engine freshened up and I'm having some trouble trying to find some clips for the rockers, I have attached a photo below for what im after. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction as a fair few google searches have come up empty.

The guide looks the same just without the atomic writing on it and different colour, but im sure ive seen other atomic guides and they arent all black.

Anyone able to tell from this picture if the guides,tensioner and chain are atomic?

I actually haven't checked to see how much it spikes, yeah I might just get one then to be on the safe side.

it will definitely be making more boost, im not currently runnining one at the moment its blocked off.

Hey all, currently upgrading to a G42 turbo and am wondering if I will need to run a Turbosmart Gen V Race Port Blow off Valve, I see some cars run them but unsure if it is necessary or not.

Nah never figured it out, I’ve thrashed the car and raced it a few times with no issues at all. About to put a new turbo so going to go over the engine to check it as I never actually pulled it down when I bought it of the bloke who crashed their car. Once I pull it down I will post if I find anything, I’ve always thought it’s potentially timing gear related but not sure. Would you mind also putting a video of yours I wouldn’t mind comparing actually.
