  1. Not sure why the pics aren’t working
  2. Just cracked over 300rwkw on this old girl after about 10 solid runs so was a bit hot. It weighs 300kg less than a BF sedan so is a bit of handful.
  3. Plenty of options to fit an aftermarket sensor, have removed the factory water pipe from the thermostat housing and tapped that out to 1/2 bsp to run a proper pipe with -6 fittings to the turbo, also tapped under the thermostat so I can run my factory dash coolant temp (66 XR Falcon). This runs true engine temp not after the thermostat opens. As the fuel and other maps are corrected by engine temp it needs to be accurate. the haltech(Commodore) sensor is only $50, I thought they were more than that so may go to that if the factory one doesn’t play ball.
  4. oil temp easy swapped if need be but head temp is a brand new sensor as they are a pain to get to if it fails Haltech use GM style sensors but by the time you buy a bunch of them they add up. Trying to spend money in the right areas without going overboard with new everything. Was going to plot the temps as suggested with a spare sensor and I figure the oil temp would give a good indication of engine temp. Does the Barra actually have a sensor for coolant?
  5. I'm running a BF turbo engine for an engine conversion and need to calibrate the coolant temp and oil temp to the Haltech ECU. Does anyone have the resistance charts for these? I.e. 0 deg = 10ohms - 80 deg = 0ohms or whatever it may be
  6. Tuff mounts chassis bracket and stock barra engine mounts. May make some bush type engine mounts down the track
  7. It’s running new 10.9 grade bolts, atomic flexplate and custom converter. Atomic recommend factory torque. Not many factory bolts going back into this one
  8. Still a ways to go. Pro stars are gone and hub caps are going back on
  9. It’s actually going into a 66 XR falcon hence the C4
  10. Does anyone know the torque setting from converter to flexplate please?
  11. Sorry could I add to this question, I’ve just bought an engine for a conversion I’ve done valve springs and pump gears so the whole top end and timing set has been removed and reinstalled. Turning the motor over by hand there is some noise coming from the phasers, sort of light clattering. I’m assuming this is due to no oil pressure by turning over by hand?
