  1. Check out these guys they do both short and long runner they have all been tested well by now The Fabricators Warehouse FB page just start scrolling down
  2. Some of the zf8 conversion parts already available outside dominator https://pmcmotorsport-shop.com/product-eng-3433-Adapter-Kit-Ford-Barra-BMW-N57N-N57-ZF-8HP70.html https://htg-tuning.com/product-category/electronics/ https://htg-tuning.com/shop/zf-8hp-complete-wiring-service/ https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/185467045046?epid=21018902702&hash=item2b2eb284b6:g:JN8AAOSwieJiq1c7&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoNy9AmsjXspTD2zgZo1NbGYhwBgt4pBCUesn0c7HHVWUFjvx%2Bm4NsUQJpvD5jARoSwMTgNMQfuoEFI6D7OnsVJjKMLXeD0TFekk9%2FSILORNB2ZG9a5kTsJGBwEKXPvrbyaeBMVcLnS5k61hvkVEn79WSm1Pc7rU0uKfUwKVMqLGKNe8vt%2F8ljrtvx5kBm6YwsmsIMQN4uwUo1n4SK0%2FySiE%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8Sjgrq9YA The 70 has been shown to be very strong 1000HP. The 75 is a step up again and has a better gear set for the falcon I think. https://www.facebook.com/HTGtuning/
  3. The cams are the same in all the barra's (ie turbo/na) and work well for lots of power. A lot of the issues with the falcon are weight orientated so you will likely get a nicer car to drive with a lighter chassis and most of those issues I brought up will not be as bad. You just have to keep an eye out everywhere for some cheaper prices on parts they do come up.
  4. Does anyone know the bolt spacing on BF XR6T ZF diff flange to tailshaft, save me getting the jack out for now anyway.
  5. I am putting this on hold for a while as Dominator Australia are bringing out a hardware and software conversion in the future, I don't know when but its still happening. The software will be the big bonus as its a large outlay for the HTU gear which isn't a plug n play
  6. The turbo barra in a BA BF FG falcon is not a drivers car. It can be made to perform decently but not well. It is a straight line car at the end of the day and at best a tourer. Its always laggy with a single, its never power on the foot like an NA etc. Its always a best guess throttle input scenario for the conditions. Its not like a race car which is extremely predictable and has no issues with input at the limit of grip (sideways etc). But saying that on the road, tuned etc it can easily be faster than a M5 but not as fun to drive would be my bet from a driving perspective not power and speed.
  7. Hey keithy you know those brake pads are for people who drive fast don't you haha. Once they bed in nice you will be real happy at how they slow or stop at speed. You can also get some spacers for ride height front or rear if it's not sitting where you want it, they handle a lot better as well with the rear slightly lower than the front.
  8. I suppose it would be alright on e85 then with the turbo. Not many people left that can tune the delco. Hurry up and get a bigger shed haha. I'm the same sort of I want to do VK efi v8 with a single in the future. This sparked my interest lately https://www.facebook.com/pcmtec/posts/1931231960413605
  9. I swear you are a Expensive Daewoo man @Puffwagon Whack a pulsar turbo on it, comp will be low enough haha. Tuning delco is a bitch though.
  10. My guess is most likely the Atomic timing chain, they can be loud. TBRE won't use them they are huge overkill even for big builds.
  11. No just the same as any performance pad. They last a long time as well.
  12. Nice car. I got offered a genuine XY GT 351 in 2000 for 10k and didn't have the cash then. A few months before that a Brock VK SS for the same, same story. Damn.
  13. Best pad I have used in 25+ years of driving modified cars. I was going to upgrade my brakes until I found these https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/Circo-MB1620-S17-Street-Series-S17-Brake-Pads-Front-FPV-4-Pot-BA/BF/FG Put the rears on as well, never seen any street pad shave off speed over 100k's like these, they are decent cold as well. Carbon-ceramic not crappy ceramic pads.
  14. You could wind it down a bit with their other option spring. 80psi @ 4000rpm is pretty high warm. You should be looking at 80psi around 7-8000 rpm. Those pumps are not going to fail but high oil pressure can cause other issues, its hard to know what's happening though. Give them a call see what they think.
  15. What will be peak RPM? What oil filter is on it? How much power are you trying to make?
  16. Yea its getting a kayhan or similar soon buts its starting to play up, just want to get one in case I lose A/C, dash etc.
  17. Can you put a small screen single zone ICC into a large screen single zone ICC car
  18. Hey I didn't want to say trannys 👨👩🌈 Dirty things.
  19. I'm putting one in, in 6 months. Have all the parts sorted, biggest cost is standalone GCU. There is a mob in England already doing the conversion plate for the barra. Will need base maps and tuning some is supplied. Main wiring harness is supplied. I will be using the ZF8HP75 rated to 750nm but apparently these things are very strong and will handle much more stock and have a larger and stronger input shaft. Cost is just under 5k if you can do most of it. Which is cheaper than a zf6 re build these days. The boxes are identical in dimensions.
  20. e85 and 98 will be a big difference at 400rwkw as well. Like puff said the track mph will always tell.
  21. Does anyone know the size of the oil return hole on the block, the ford return pipe is 13mm. Is it the same, anyone have an engine out or a block sitting around or know. Thanks.
  22. You should put a de stroke crank in it if you want to run it up there.
  23. The ANTZ is an exact copy of the process west. The boys at ANTZ ripped a process west apart and sent it to their manufacturer for an exact copy. I don't know if the materials are the same but they seem to work fine.
