  1. Yea I'm not a Dunlop fan either, these are their only good sport max tyres. I think they are made at a different place than the others. The guy I bought tyres from was the same only FM800 rest are crap. But anyways. They are just good bang for buck. Better than any of the even 'good' Chinese stuff.
  2. I have the Dunlop Sport FM800's at the moment, they have been very good and great in the wet about $150 each. If you want to spend more the PS4's are the way to go you can find them around $215-230 these days.
  3. Yea not many have tried it, just interested. My tuner hasn't played with it yet so he isn't very interested. If it could get a bit out at the top of 2nd and 3rd there is some time there. Might be half decent for the wet as well.
  4. Oh ok I didn't read to well I thought just 6 speed. Have you played with traction control yet with PCMtec Puff
  5. $500-$600 at a decent shop just for labour and that's expensive I reckon but it is what it is.
  6. Does anyone know if the turbo barras have any DLC coated parts from the factory
  7. Yea dont get it all confused though, their is a large pod BF module but it is different to the FG module.
  8. The 'sniper' stuff is good. I have bought some bits n pieces off him in the past. I also talked to him about the modifications he does to the pod and used them successfully with mine. I can run full boost under 10% fuel with no issue, just make sure you try it on the dyno first ha. I did have to take the check/vapor/valve out of mine though but it was already playing up when I was putting fuel in etc. An upgraded or uprated valve should be fine, I think that's what he has in the big pods. He has the 525 as well but you have to think about wiring then: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WALBRO-E85-525-BIG-POD-HI-PERFORMANCE-FUEL-PUMP-FALCON-FPV-BA-BF-XR6-TURBO-XR8/283133900955?hash=item41ec18789b:g:WuAAAOSw1ZJehbXk
  9. Did you get the high pressure one? there are 2 types. I went to a big pod with modified pod plus I took the check valve out as well. Pretty sure the standard 460 is good for at least 450rwkw on e85. Just keep it over a quarter of a tank till you decide what to do. Should be fine for the tune, see what the fellas say.
  10. Anyone see this its on a mainline hub with Kinugawa GTX3584RS on e85 https://www.facebook.com/cartelaus/videos/253471712322522
  11. Yea, he had a FG with high flow GTX wheel on the standard turbo plus a walbro 525 fuel pump in the tank in there I saw making 570rwhp on 98 at 19psi... It must of had 3582 that's real close or over the edge.
  12. Actually I just remembered these guys, good prices but I was in a rush. https://bestmufflers.com/bshop/index.php?id_product=7095&id_product_attribute=0&rewrite=ford-falcon-ba-bf-xr6-turbo-advance-headers-high-flow-cat-suits-089mm-3-12-dump-pipe-tba35c-ss&controller=product They have the 4 inch as well.
  13. I got this one for $340 that was my offer for it. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ADVANCED-HEADERS-FORD-BA-BF-FORD-FALCON-XR6-TURBO-EXHAUST-TURBO-DUMP-PIPE-3-5-/184603785348?hash=item2afb3e3884 Some people on here might be able to find you one cheaper, Jet or somebody. I got my cat from outlaw4x4 but it doesn't look like they make them anymore, I just called around their distributors for a shop and price, was about $180 I think. Its not the cheap ebay 'outlaw' one though they are crap.
  14. Well you might want to ask some folks on here the old 3.5" vs 4" dump. I use 3.5 to 3.5 cat because its my daily and im not on boost or my max boost all the time. My tuner will only use 4" but he tunes 1000hp cars all the time so... I think I remember some saying on here that 3.5 was good enough for a fair bit.
  15. Trust Puff over me, but I found the 3.5 dump to 3.5 cat gave me a noticeable/graph torque gain and response is better after a tune, but I was using a sh*t PWR cooler that was too small to begin with, so I don't yet know what the HP gain will be. With the stock dump into a 3.5 cat I had 495rwhp at 18psi but it felt restricted to me up in the rev range. You are using e85 in the LPG motor? You might find yourself well over 400rwkw
  16. Just buy these, takes 2 seconds to get them off, never stress again. You can find them cheaper if you look around. https://www.repco.com.au/en/tools-equipment/automotive-tools/engine-drivetrain/toledo-fuel-disconnect-tool-set-307002/p/A9503464?search=fuel line disconnect tool
  17. You better call all the tuners then because they don't agree. Real dyno in Brisbane won't even tune your car unless it has BP98. The additive packs are different always have been and not all the 98 gets an additive pack. If you go back and have a look at some of the old additive packs you will see they contain things like toluene etc.
  18. 9.0 comp and caltex 98 I think that would be the issue cant get enough timing into it. I would run it up again with BP98 and a bottle of Nulon Pro Strength Octane Booster or use NF Octane Booster Racing Formula but you would have to use it all the time though. What size is the convertor that can read lower numbers as well?
  19. Do you know what the compression ratio of the built motor ended up at? What size is the piping from the turbo to intercooler?
  20. Yea my car had an autotech tune in it when I bought it and it would ping on anything other than BP98. Most tuners prefer BP98 I have noticed. Apparently Shell have upgraded their 98 recently and is suppose to be better than BP, I don't know but I'm not a fan of the friction modifier they put in it anyways. Its all in the additive packs these days but the specs are not available to the public anymore.
  21. What intercooler is in it? Caltex fuel isn't that great either use BP98 next time.
  22. First tune I ever had done I got all my money back with no issues ($1000). Just present the facts calmly and see what they say at least. I understand some people don't like asking. I have to though because I'm poor haha. Nothing wrong with running a tune up to around 18psi just get a good cooler and a good tuner. I can tell you where to go but its a big cost upfront after you have already been dealing with another tuner.
