  1. I thought that was the steering angle sensor? Where is the steering angle sensor then or is it the same unit on the colum?
  2. they could not communicate with teh module to tell me which sensor it was (if it is) I have looked at the wheel sensors and could not see anything obvious, where approx is the yaw rate sensor located?
  3. I have checked all the wheel sensors and caould not see anything obvious and if that was the issue it should have come up in a scan thanks for the pic, so the DSC / ABS is the same / one module? now im more confused, as the ABS light is not on and ABS is working but they were unable to scan it. can the ABS work even though this ECU is faulty? I might buy a wreck and start swapping bits out
  4. I have a FGMK 2 XR6 which is an ex police car, and I think I am having some issue with teh car electrically. I have an airbag light on and the DSC light on. The airbag I had scanned and found it was a front impact severity sensor. I swapped this out and the airbag light turned off. However, after about 2 weeks it came back on. I feel like it will be the same sensor as when I removed the faulty one it had already been changed once before(the one that was replaced had pain pen on it like it was from the wreckers) so this was not the first time it has had this issue. I plan to check the wiring and replace this again which will turn it off again. Also I have an issue with my DSC. The DSC light comes on the dash once I start the car. THE ABS light is Not on. The brake lights work and so does the cruise control even with the DSC fault. I had it scanned and they were unable to communicate with the DSC module in the car, which is why I think there may be a wiring issue. I have checked all fuses under the bonnet and on the driver side and all are fine and all connectors are plugged in firmly. The DSC fault appears immediately once you start the car. my question is where in the car is this module / ECU that controls the DSC system? Is it the Main ECU or elsewhere? I will be pulling the front bar and going over the wiring that this airbag sensor connects to I want to also look for any obvious faults with this ECU / wiring that controls the DSC system, so any help as to where I should be looking for this would be a help
  5. I have a 3576 off a 2013 FG2 and I am on the Gold coast if interested
  6. I have one I can sell, Off a 2013 FG2 with 80km on it. PM Me.
  7. OEM currently I am looking at options to change it. I was thinking a better quality after market heat exchanger.
  8. It is an auto and I rarely change the gears myself in it as it does a pretty good job itself in sport. I am also running a 3582 equivalent not a 76 so it is a little laggier.
  9. Not planning to as I dont bounce it off the limiter ill take the risk.
  10. its still awesome ;p I was considering doing a kill bill inspired car but am probably just going to do some blue highlights to keep it in the blue / white ford colour scheme.
  11. thanks ive been lurking here for a while looking at mods / guides/ ideas on what to do. I am happy with the power it is making, I will be doing all bushes soon with SuperPro as teh diff is starting to go. im still looking but for external styling now need more thant just 1 awesome sticker ( it adds at least 30RWKW)
  12. Had the Turbo Taxi returned Yesterday @ Profile and the end result was 415Killerwasps at the rear wheels so am happy with the final result using a Chinese turbo and some ebay bits doing most of it DIY. This is using Eflex which has been pretty constant @ 77% Ethanol over the last few months I am happy with how it drives and performed. I swapped the Actuator spring to 8PSI one from 12PSI this helped keep the boost creep in check and now it is holding at approx 21PSI but has made it a little laggier with the boost coming on a tad slower vs the 12psi spring. I actually prefer how this feels/drives personally as I can drive around off boost mostly not having to give up my first born to pay for the fuel bills and giving it some stick when the moment arises still. Unlike some others I don't mind posting what it cost me so here is the final list of mods/prices is ( all is delivered costs with what it cost me at the time) : Mamba 3582 Turbo ($1000 - Ebay ) 2nd hand Devils Own Water injection kit ($250 - ebay ) AutoTechnia Intercooler and piping ( Ebay $520 ) New Drop-in 3.9BAr Fuel regulator-- KPM Motorsports $180 Walbro 460 in tank pump -- Intune motorsport $239 SCT x4 -- Chiptorq $900 Raceworks / Bosh 1000cc Injectors -- $500 -- ebay Muffler delete kit -- intune motorsports -- $99 K&N Pod Filter -- Super cheap auto $40 Home made head shield for POD Filter in factory airbox location -- $20 Throttle Body replacement pipe -- intune motorsport -- $115 100 cell MEtail 4" Cat -- Ebay -- $100 4" Turbo Down Pipe $340 Custom Exhaust work ( delete middle muffler and fit above parts ) $360 from local exhaust shop Atomic Valve Springs -- $950 -- supplied + fit Profile Custom Dyno Tune on Eflex -- Profile $850 Re Tune from Profile -- $150 Not a performance mod for power but Whiteline Front + Rear sway bars --$480 -- ebay Well that's it for engine performance mods now to give it a 2 tone paint job and fix/paint the interior Here is a current pic before I get to modding. I am also going to change the springs / shocks + do a full bush kit using super pro bushes for the whole car in the near future as the read diff bush is starting to go.  Here are some Glory shots:
  13. and recommendations for a good Tuner on the gold coast, I am currently considering Chiptorq in nerang and Hi-Torque in Labrador any good / bad experiences with either of these shops?? looking for 400+ RWKW on E85 with my mods. Some people have recommended both in this thread but any more recent experiences.
  14. I just ordered a GtX 3582 (62mm wheel) from Mamba so I am hoping with the smaller wheel than the 84 I wont have the same issues controlling boost. @ $1089 delivered to my door its hard to resist.
