  1. Hey guys, Running round in circles chasing a missfire and boosting issues, im starting to confuse my self... Car is 2003 BA Xr6 Turbo - 200k on clock and Standard as far as im aware Have had car for a few years and has had its little things here and there with coils dying or hose splitting etc. It always seem to run ok with odd idles here and there. Car is now Missing like crazy after a hard boost through a gear or a skid it will run like its on 4 cylinders and eventually go back to normal. I had a miss here and there on acceleration and have replaced the coil packs with Packs from Golebys which has cleared up the miss on acceleration but I still have the same issues after a hard pull. Car also had the complete fuel pump assembly changed around 10k km ago and seemed fine after a hard rev. Is this possibly that the Valve Springs have gone soft or fuel pump is just sh*t? Car will also stall out randomly flash oil lights and then 5 minutes later is fine. Next part is more so a question. Recently fitted a boost guage and on some pulls it is jumping up to 12ish psi on the guage?? where as I thought it should be around 5 - 6 ish. guage is also a used guage from another car. Does this mean my car is overboosting? Doesnt feel like its tunned but havnt really drove many other standard xr6t's, Cannot see any aftermarket items on the car to indicate any perfomance upgrade's have been done.
