  1. Hey guys, So just bought a set of king springs for my BF MK2 XR6 and realised that I've accidentally ordered BF MK1 springs. On king spring's catalogue they say theres a difference in the seat or something but I've read else where that there's 2 positions on it so it might work. I was wondering if someone could shine some light on this? I've messaged the ebay guy asking for a swap but if these working for mine then it'll save me a lot of effort. These are the springs I bought: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-FALCON-BA-BF-XR6-SEDAN-2002-6-2007-SUPER-LOW-50mm-F-R-LOWERED-SPRINGS-/331989619360 Thanks
  2. I have found that some people fit similar wheels but others say it won't fit as itll rub on something in the rear's
  3. Hi guys so I have been racking google and haven't found any answers for my question yet so I decided to ask. I am going to look at some new rims tomorrow, the sizing is 18x8 with an offset of +38. I am just wondering if they will fit a BA XR6 sedan (stock height). I have tried 17x9.5 +44 with no luck in the rear so I don't wanna get screwed around by these wheels. thank you and merry christmas!
  4. Would you happen to know of any threads or other forums thagt might have investigated this mix
  5. Think I might stick with 98 to avoid all those troubkes
  6. I have been reading some forums of people mixing u98 and e85. I have read the effects of 85 on fuel lines etc but only when running 100% e85. But I was looking at running maybe 70% u98 and 30% e85 or maybe even more 98 comapred to 85. My reasoning is that with the high prices of 98 mixing 85 would be a bit cheaper to run. I drive a 2003 BA XR6 with a redback cat-back exhaust. Open to all ideas
  7. Hi all, I currently have an 03 Ba XR6 5sp manual sedan and have plans on doing a turbo motor swap once I am halfway through my green P's (about 2 years a long time I know), I know the troubles of this but I would like to do something unique and as a project for me and my friends. In the meantime I would like to do 'supporting' mods over time. I am planning on getting a cat back exhaust done sometime next week only because she's a bit too quite right now . I have been looking at various other mods such as installing an LSD, sway bars, coilovers, fatter tires etc. Since I have never done anything like this before I didn't want to risk making any mistakes in the purchase of parts hence why I am posting here. LSD: I would like to know if I can fit an lsd unit from a BA XR6T? (obviously manual or will an auto fit as well?)... Suspension mods: For the suspension mods I wanted to push the coilovers a bit as I do not want to splurge out 2 grand for them at this moment. In terms of swaybars I have found some from whiteline: http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=BFK001&sq=4188 Supercheap auto also sells these however this kit seems to have everything I need (I'm not too sure what half of it is). I have also been told that doing the control arms (front and rear) would also help with handling of the car but no clue what I should get. Stores: I have no problem driving a bit to get the right parts. There are some wreckers around me if I need to go and find a wrecked car. Also if you know of any suspension workshops or stores that would do a good install of the parts I listed above for a reasonable price please let me know. As for online shopping I have no problem as long as the site doesn't look sketchy.
