heya mate nah runnning e85 matey. suprisingly with the 585rwhp auto it was more tailhappy then then 790 manual. I lost a fair bit of wheel torque plus its alot more linear compared to the auto so it just goes. of course it spins 3rd but it still picks up speed really quickly and it just goes straight doesnt start hooking sideways

the 4.11s arent to bad becausei run a 275 on back to be honest basically 3rd gear is a great pull gear

ummm was about 38thou I think cant remember was a while ago ran the mahle spec for 15+psi
been my pride and joy just on going work. bought it 8 years ago with 80k km now its done 150 but everything is pretty much new hhah

heya guys thought id do an update on my build as its going. so I ended up going 6 speed manual. conversion was very very easy. wiring was easy (I have reverse lights) only problem I came across was the centre bearing OD being different. anyways long story short I ended up getting a yellow sticker so in the process of getting this back on the road. vehicle is getting a few changes to comply and be registered and also for extra power after registering. Full spool is coming out and am replacing with a Harrop Truetrac. standard tailshaft will be removed and will be upgrading to a DBS custom tailshaft. 1.00AR rear housing will be getting replaced with a 1.15AR housing(due to rear housing causing restriction on last tune) Brakes are being changed to be more suitable for the power. picking up a set of Brembo 6 Piston front calipers with 355mm front discs and Brembo 4 Piston rear calipers with 330mm discs. once reregistered going to be doing the last tune for this setup. aiming for low 900rwhp at around 30psi. this will be the last tune on this vehicle as injectors only have another 15-20% left. also a few old suspension bushes will be replaced to improve handling.

well im limited now to my rear housing so the plan is to get a 1.15 ar in the future then more boost. still got 15% in the injectors but I reckon id replace them. its a journal bearing mate
im not to concerned about the high reving its a big motor so 6k is plenty. with a new 1.15ar rear housing and 30+ boost itll prolly go low 900s

heya all after running 585 at the wheels through my btr 4 speed I decided its time to get a more serious gearbox and actually get my setup working.
this weekend ive just done a t56 conversion. fitted an xtrreme twin plate, malwood short shifter, malwood heavy duty ally master cylinder and clutch hose. I just gotta change my centre bearing as the donor had a different tailshaft centre bearing.I must say its a very straight forward conversion even in regards to modifying the auto harness for start and reverse lights. the car is due to be tuned in the next coming weeks. expecting around 700-800rwhp on 24-28psi.

It seems to be holding up for now but who knows haha I got 275s on the back seems to be doing good for now

yeh I have no idea haha its loud and bassy I know that much haha next thing to go on the car is a full manualized t400 then gonna put 26-28pounds through it and more timing and aim for 500rwkw+ I'm surprised the btr held this much anyways its holding onto gears very well lol

I haven't it makes the front window flex a fair bit ive had some mates in it before they recon it has to be around 140 I have no idea if that sounds about right?

heya guys my car is almost finished gonna be running a walbro 351 in tank just as a lift pump then 2 044s on my plazmaman man surge tank ive got the billet fuel rail and fpr1200 im gonna run the fuel system on 2 stage so basically pump in tank plus 1 on surge is always running then above 10psi the 2nd pump on the surge kicks in. my question is running twin entry into the rail on 2 pumps will I need a 1 way valve or anything on my 2nd stage pump so when im driving normally under 10psi it doesnt back feed fuel through the pump that's stationary?

heya guys im stumped on this one was just chasing some insite to perhaps someone has had the same problem as me. I got a ba xr6 turbo. for years now every now and again the car would go into a limp. would only rev to 2-3k and not run on all cylinders. only fault code was forced throttle limited. in the past I have replaced the tps. it still kept happening occasionally. I built the engine changed to e85 and got it tuned. car made 792rwhp. picked vehicle up from tuners had to replace the throttle body as it was erratic. for 2 weeks the car drove amazing had a perfect idle etc. after 2 weeks all of a sudden the idle would be erratic and it has a very light missfire. im stumped. its got a new app aswell when I did the manual conversion. it was faultless for 2 weeks then suddenly one morning on startup it lost its perfect idle then suddenly the etc came up. ive bridged the ps pressure switch aswell to see if that was causing the erratic idle but no difference. car hasnt lost any performance or anything just an erratic idle.I got no fault codes to work with besides the forced throttle limited
