  1. Update: Car: 2010 FG XR6 Turbo Upgrade Power: 349.5rwkw Boost: 18 psi Induction: V8 lower, K&N panel Intercooler: Monza Turbo: Hypergear ATR45SS 0.5A/R, (IWG actuator failed, replaced with Turbosmart 12psi IWG actuator and modified actuator rod) Valve Springs: Plazmaman Spec 1 Exhaust: Stock 3" with Venom 5" 100cpi cat Fuel: Bosch 57lb Tuning: Xcal 4
  2. Its a journal bearing. Locally assembled and balanced from Chinese parts I think. Will see full boost around 2800rpm if your loading up in a higher gear. Nice 40mm internal gate with choice of actuator Springs, I have 15psi actuator. Apparently this spec can flow 420rwkw on P98 and has seen 490rwkw on E85 with the 0.70A/R comp cover option. So far I've only seen 320kw from it (@ gate pressure, 15psi), likely due to cooler and exhaust restrictions. I am reserving judgement until next Monday when the Plaz cooler is installed and ECU is re-tuned. Will post up results. P.S Tao, the manager of Hypergear, is very highly respected in Skyline circles and is one of the most helpful and friendly guys I've spoken to in the automotive industry. Operates from Melbourne, been around since around early 2000s Got it as complete unit, but they do high flow rebuilds also
  3. How so re injectors? Thought the 60lb's were good for 400rwkw? I have been told they're not ideal anyway in the FG length and may switch to ID1000/Bosch. Also interested to know why you find the turbo strange.
  4. Yep. Interesting how the Monza's evaporate from that list as power gets over 320kw/14-15psi. I got 321.3rwkw but hoping to get 350-360 with a Plazmaman 700hp cooler and re-tune.
  5. Thanks to the forum admin for this thread and members for submitting your results. I suspect that I may currently have an intercooler restriction. Based on the data in this thread, I have collected some data to compare the Monza coolers with the Plazmaman types. It was formatted very roughly so sorry if there's any mistakes. 7. I think +30 would be preferable, normally should not require guard rolling but would ask to check on compatibility with SSSL's. Whats your budget for tyres and intended purpose?
  8. Yes I did catch that thread. Good knowing somebody has already achieved this, but more looking to find out bare minimums in terms of camber. Ride height will be std. for now Based on my calculations, the wheel will be 1.1" less diameter than the current 20's (245/35 +35) and 0.1mm difference on the inside, so full lock should be comfortable. Outside is the issue, will be 30mm wider on the outside than current setup
  9. Hi all, Liking the XXR 530 wheels in 18x9.75 +20 . Really want to run 275's all around with about 4 deg camber front , 0 at back if possible. Clearance on the inside of the wheels will be fine, but concerned about the outside. Will I need guard work on the front? and wondering how much camber I would need to run front and back (at minimum) to clear the outside? Any insight would be great, cheers Keiran
