Thanks all.. it does have a cop chip in it.. we've tried the battery and that's not it.. we are now just replacing the Turbo (which also just went out) and the thermostat which died aswell and hope that is all I need to do.. hopefully...

My ford has started immobilising itself randomly. The hand light comes on and I can't start it.. I have to wait for it to stop.. What could this be?
