As soon as the dealer warranty runs out, I'll never take the car back to Ford, only got 45K to go now, the car got sold with a warranty to 175K.

That's what I said to both the dealer and Ford, as I need the car on the road toget to & from work so I bit the bullet and paid to get fixed or otherwise if I did have the time I would have gone to the department of fair trading and I did mention that I do work for a company that looks at customers out of warranty case by case for repairs. Do I have a leg to stand n now as the car is already repaired to reclaim the money spent on the repairs?

Well on the last service from the Ford dealer I purchased my 05/08 G6E TURBO, they advised the timing cover was leaking and the the seal had gone and the py advised me to monitor it to see if there was any oil still leaking. Well the engine was still dropping oil, the dealer advised it would not be covered under warranty as the car was not under new car warranty and the warranty that was sold witht the car does only cover comports like the timing chain. I rang Ford customer service to see if they could provide any assistance, they did take notes about my concern and I advised them that I should not have to pay for the repairs as the car has only just done 130K, they called me the next day to advise Ford could not provide any assistance. I then called a few other dealers to see how much they would charge to perform the repair, their prices were more then what I was quoted fromthe dealer I had purchased the car from so I got the repairs done and the cost was $585 inc GST. Has any one else had this issue with their G6E TURBO/XR6 TURBO, I did search varies forums but couldn't find much people talking about their experiences.

I have pulled up behind a HWP patrol in Mt Druitt while he was filling his XR6T with vortex 98, he was eying me off while I was waiting but didn't say anything although he did look at the G6ET guard badges while walking into swipe his fuel card.

Well I have checked the fuse and changed the 30amp fuse on the and checked the connection at where the L shaped clip connects to the pin and it's looking good but I get no power. The iPod connection still has power so I assume it gets power from the ICC, any idea's?
