  1. Happy Birthday TheBoss!

  2. Sorry I've made a mistake with the IP addresses Make sure that the Windows XP firewall is set on, but don't tick the checkbox labelled "Don't allow execptions". Also check the obvious things like ping your desktop PC from your wireless notebook. Can you ping it? If yes than it's a good sign:) If not check these obvious things as well: the IP addresses if they both desktop and laptop are in the same subnet (in english do the first three sets of numbers of your IP address are the same) Example, if your desktop is say 192.168.0.1, is your notebook Ip address 192.168.0.xxx (xxx = any number from 1 - 254)? Try these and see how you go. If you need more info, please PM me. Cheers.

  6. Looks so cheap/degrading even for a Hyundai
  7. Nice car Dave! That badge looks very nice and the wheels look awesome. Good on ya mate!
  8. I work in IT as a Systems Analyst (looking after servers and networking equipment) for an Insuance Company.
  9. I'm not too sure about the new spoiler, I prefer the original one. As for the car, it looks sweeeeeeeet. I love the 4 exhaust pipe system. Lovely car mate!
  10. Love the twin exhaust on both sides, looks awesome. Excelent colour!
  11. Personaly I don't like the stripes, I reckon the xr6/8 looks better with out them. However its a matter of taste. On the flip side the Citrus XR8 car (Envi ???) shown a few posts ago, doesn't look too bad with the black stripes. How can we not contradict each other, when I managed to contradict myself....hehehe

    Road Toll

Well I cannot comment much on Sydney drivers, cause I've only spent 10 days driving around there. However I can comment on WA drivers cause this is where I live. The drivers here (well most of them) are having a laid back attidude when it comes to driving: 1. When light turns green, they sit there at the lights, hopping that it would turn greener before taking off, the poor driver who is 4 cars away is risking running a red light or missing out because the first car couldn't find the accelerator pedal. 2. People love sitting in right hand lane and don't take notice of the squillion of cars who sit behind them while they drive under limmit. 3. Then you have people turning into main roads not bothering to check for traffic, resulting you in having to ruin your tyres for their stupidity. Whats annoying is that they show no sign of remorse. So if you find Sydney driving too arogant, come to Perth here drivers are at sleep most of the time.
  13. Trade price from Castrol varies depending on the volume of oil you purchase and it usually is @ $45 for 5 ltr. Quite often you will see it on specials in auto shop advertisements for @ $70~$90 depending on what viscosity ie. 0W-40 10W-60 etc I’ve heard of some dealers selling it for as much as $50+ a ltr Do it yourself and I’m sure it will cost you at least ½ of what it cost if the dealer does it.. If you don’t want to get your hands dirty then buy the oil and leave in with the service department when you drop of you car for service and the money you save by supplying your own oil will pay for the oil change and filter (best by your own filter as well) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, but what stops them from putting crappy oil in your T and putting your oil in their cars.
  14. If Winzip doesn't do the job, try WinRAR there is a evaluation copy available on Most freeware sites eg:www.download.com; wwwtucows.com, etc.
  15. Briliant idea and excellent Work. For this price, every T owner would want one. Please keep updating this thread with improvements/new info/prices, etc. Good on ya cutsnake!!!!
  16. Why shouldn't people use fully synthetic oil in T's until 10,000 Kms? I thought thinner oil without the additives make the oil go to the top of the engine quicker and reduces that initial wear during run-in period. Isn't that the case?
  17. I run 2psi less than the maximum ratting, with this rule along with tyre rotation every 10K Kms I get a very good mileage out of the tyres. Currently I am running 42psi front and rear because the maximum rating is 44psi on my Hankook 225's. On my last set of tyres I've got 103,000 Kms out of the factory fitted Bridgestones, by keeping them 2psi less than the maximum rating and rotating them at 10,000 Kms.
