  4. did same same to my house when we did a reno about 9 years ago put extra in my study and lounge room never enough had to steal a couple from the bedroom (common wall with loungeroom) always put in double what you think you might need its only some extra cable after all and cable is ALWAYS more reliable than wireless

  9. I see you are still rocking your Antec case @.Stripes. the micro-ITX I just built Mrs BCB relegated my Antec case to the shed has tidied up her area a bit now.......... .......................................................................but not as tidy as yours bro
  10. cos Microsoft have had more than its fair share of my money I use this method for win 10 easy to do and it works all you need to do is download the ISO file from the Microsoft website, follow this lads instructions and hey presto

  14. I'm now an AMD fan boy took the fan off to mod it to fit inside the case turned it over and spied a small screw undid it and hey presto the top part of the fan shroud un-clips from the bottom fan now fits in the case did some cable cramming now all done and dusted

Mini-ITX literally fits in the palm of your hand (sort of) re-used Mrs BCB's old SSD the fan protrudes a fraction 2 much I'll have to take that top shroud off the fan and do a few mods the side panel does have a dish but it misses by a couple of mm fired it up and the hardware recognized the old drive and booted straight to it haven't even gone into the BIOS yet to setup anything! Cat is totally unimpressed
  17. got Mrs BCB's parts today hope it goes together ok the CPU fan /heatsink is always a worry using a mini-ITX case so not to appear as a hypocrite, I'll post a couple of build pics tonight
  18. looks like a direct hit for the BCB household we are about a third of the way between Cairns and Port no biggie really as long as it doesn't intensify too much more might get a day off work tomorrow though
