From what I've been reading anything ba mk11 and up is OK except for the 4sp auto?

Does anyone know whether there is a difference between the ba and bf model turbo I've heard the back has a needle bearing turbo which is supposed to be crap

Gday I just got on my open licence and am looking to buy my first turbocharged car. The ba and bf xr6t are in my price range and Ive heard offa few ppeople that the ba has a needle bearing turbo which are supposably crap but I can't find any info on the net. Any help would be much appreciated, cheers guys
