  1. any luck @Ford Freak with the video? I'm looking to put a new tensioner on tomorrow hopefully if it definitely fixes it I'll post back with the result
  2. Haha, if you have an account with youtube you should see an up arrow on the top right (on computer) click that
  3. I uploaded to youtube and linked it
  4. This belt was new as of like a month or 2 ago :/ they're cheap enough so not hard to replace Though this is a very similar sound
  5. started the car to see if I could hear it and was only just able to make it out (cold), took belt off and didn't notice the sound so let it run for a minute and still nothing, put belt back on and could notice the sound but again was barely audible. Currently warming up the car to test it again when its more noticeable Is it the belt itself or something like the tensior rattling and why its not a constant sound and more random
  6. Anyone have any thoughts on this noise I've got, notice it starts after I've been for a drive or possibly when engine is warmed up. First I though idler bearing but changed that and still happening, all I can think of now is something to do with chain or cam phasers but the noise is so random there's no pattern
  7. to fit the engine to b series car you only need to change the sump, oil pickup, dipstick (which you may need to drill the block for depending if it has the front hole or not), and finally trim the splash guard as its in the way of the dipstick, pcm will have to be a b series so you'll need to retune it to suit engine and also code in the gearbox depending which one you use... hopefully that helps a little
  8. I've done all the SD hi res tables which helped with fuel trimming, cam, spark, with a lot needing to have interpolation to match the different axis. I'm going to be cleaning Tb and pumping through some injector cleaner with a new fuel filter tomorrow to eliminate anything mechanical, after that I'll just start fudging numbers till I find something that helps
  9. Haha yeah, I've modified the airflow and multiplier tables to suit fg but its still doing the stall/hunt deal right at start up, I'll play with the numbers to see if anything helps
  10. I actual did change the airflow tables, I didn't adjust the multipliers so that's my bad but it made me go back and double check
  11. Rgr that, always get a kick out of your replies on hpt forums. I understand its to let us work it out ourselves and I approve haha thanks jet
  12. 2 issue I'm trying to sort out, I've included as much info as I can think of minus the tune file any help is appreciated I'm using hpt for my barra conversion (fg engine with bf pcm) and I currently have an issue where once the car is up to temp (60-90c) during startup it'll rev up and then drop back down real low almost stalling and slowly come good, currently idle is set to 750rpm... There's been a couple of times that its started and gone straight to the desired rpm without issue after running for quite some time, so is this something the ecu might right itself if I'm not updating the tune constantly? also I have zero issue's like this with a cold start Also I'm finding the return to idle after free rev is slow anyone able to point me to the correct table for possibly fixing that, I've put a manual table into the dashpot tables but they reference while the vehicle is moving and haven't been able to test it on the road yet This is my post but for some reason its posted under a different user?
  13. Well good new after bringing over the FG SD hi-res tables into the BF tune its idling now with a 0.0 LTFT and STFT is around +/-4%
  14. Yeah I have one setup, though I won't be able to do a solid log until I've got the rego on it. Currently it has about +17 ltft idling
  15. Yeah hpt, I'm in brisbane. The car runs and drives ok, I'm set to put rego on it this week just trying to get it right now while I have the time to play with it before its my daily
