Hey all quick question My catalytic converter has jus had the d*** an rattling like crazy Will it do any damage if I leave it for a week or two ? Will it need a tune if I go hi-flow ? Could this be why I'm over boosting a lot? Cheers Michael

My cat converter is rattling , what issues might I have Atm it's overboosting , making an exhausting rattling noise , an using a lot of fuel Could this all be because of my cat converter an o2 sensor reading wrong

I was desperate I've got a set of 19" rims 3 with slight buckles that need fixing an only had 3 xr6 rims so needed a 4th

Finally found a mk1 xr6 2day $70 with a near new tyre woooo gutter rashed but should be fine to fix up

I bought an oil filter line , is there a link someone can post for me on how to install it

It goes away after about 4-5minutea of driving

When I first drive my car in the morning turbo spools up an makes a really weird noise similar to a grinding noise at first I thought it was a big exhaust leak but then once I drive it for awhile the spooling noise seems to go away an sounds normal again What could the problem be I'm thinking of putting an inline oil filter to the turbo an c if anything changes its got me stumped All the bolts from turbo tomanifold are tight All the bolts from manifold to block are tight I looked an notice there's a bracket that goes from dumpipe to block it's missing the bolt at the dumpipe end could this be an issue at all Any help much appreciated Cheers Michael

Yea jus spoke to mechanic if I pull the tailshaft out an take it to him with a new centre bearing he will press it on for $80 , Centre bearing is $90+$80 press/labour Uni joint $??? Is that a decent price

Has anyone written up a step by step guide to doing this

How hard is it to do myself I got the centre bearing priced at $90 but wanna do it myself

Hey all jus got the Ba converted to a 6 Spd but only changed the yoke an kept my Ba tailshaft but now the centre bearing has gone to heaven , was wondering what needs to be done to put a bf xr6t tailshaft in mine will everything line up the same Cheers michael

Any1 out west have a spare Ba xr6t 5spd tailshaft or know where I can get one

My centre bearing stuffed I've been told I just picked my car up from being converted to a 6spd from a t5z I was warned the centre bearing was on its way out anyway whilst driving home upto 70km/h it's fine then an faster then that I get a real bad shudder/vibration , is this my centre bearing finally giving up Car is a 04 Ba xr6t , how hard is it to replace an a rough cost figure Any help much appreciated I'm from Richmond nsw
