  1. So worked out that a wire or connection had to be loose. Pulled icc and pulled apart to find that a solder on the main board that plugs into the car and dried and broken. Re solded and havnt had a problem since
  2. Well done some repairs to the old girl yesterday and was planning on removing icc after everything else was done. But, while the car was on the hoist the dam thing started up again, so there goes the chances of trying to fix it. Now to wait for it to die agian. Thinking I should just buy a new icc as I'm thinking it has something to do with the screen. This issue is sending me loopy lol
  3. Yeah I'v checked all your main fuses. Going around a mates place to pull it apart and see what we can find. Will update when I find something
  4. So after a week the system has died agian. Cant get it to reboot this time. Pulled console out again same as last time. Still will not start up. Anyone got any ideas?
  5. So I pulled the whole icc unit out. Couldn't find anything to major. Only thing I can put it down to is the main plug to the back of the icc was a bit loose and maybe it was connected up properly. It's working fine for now. Will just have to wait and see if it's good or wants to play up
  6. Nah. Tried the battery trick. It lasted for 5 minutes and then shut down again. Going to try n check the connections this weekend. Here's hoping the module isn't dieing/dead
  7. It's a ba. Will try the trick tomorrow to see what happens otherwise I might have a look at the plugs. Cheers
  8. So the other day my stereo and ac cut out and hasn't come back on. It was originally happening intermittently where it would shut off and then come straight back. And when it came back on it would have reset itself like I had replaced the battery. Any help would be great as its driving me crazy and I live in a place that has 40 odd degree days
  9. Yeah might have a look at it tomorrow. Driving around town today and managed to bump the key somehow and car decided it wanted to shut down this time. Thankfully I was able to pull over into a free park. Turned key to off and then restarted the car like nothing was wrong. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be a costly excersize. The beauty of buying second hand I guess
  10. Have you had any other issues with ac and stereo since you got your car going again? Ever since I fixed mine, the car keeps randomly shutting off ac and radio as if I'v turned the car off but engine is still running.
  11. This actually happened to me a couple of weeks back. I didn't bother putting the bearings back as I sat there for over an hour trying to get them back in. Car starts and runs fine now. Just had to change the small 20amp fuse under the bonnet as I must have tripped the security at some point putting it all back together.
  12. So went to start my car this arvo I felt a tight spot when turning the key. Now instead of turning back and trying again I just turned it some more and I heard a pop noise and that was it. Pulled the Collin covers if to find that the back of the barrel had popped out. Now I have managed to put this back together and I can't get any power to the barrel. Can't seem to find any buggered fuses. Any help would be much appreciated as this is my only car and my partner needs it tomorrow. I'm just hoping the barrel isn't completely stuffed
  13. Does anyone know the metalic silver colour code for 06 dark agent rims. Repairing mine as they have a bit of gutter rash and I'm having trouble trying to find the code on the net
