  1. I'll hook it back up to the controller when reinstalling the turbo, we bypassed it on the dyno to see if the boost would drop but it didnt.. When I left the dyno I got around the corner then the check engine light came on, it turned out that the ecu says the wastegate is siezed because the contoller was bypassed.
  2. The actuator hose is connected to the turbo The tuner is Brent at Dyno Power in Tauranga NZ Its a six speed Was planning to stay at 18psi Ive got the housing out getting ported and flapper mod Its possible that I didnt tighten the diaphram cap properly on the actuator too? This time I'll test it on the bench first with a pressure tester Also I have found the gasket between the dump pipe and turbo has blown out...probably form the xforce flange not being flat? I will try to get a thicker one made for it
  3. 07 xr6t Mods sofar are Xforce 3.5" exhaust/4" dump pipe, turbosmart actuator 14psi spring, 80Lb injectors, Walbro fuel pump, under batt intake, HDI intercooler/piping Had it at my tuner and it would not run less than 20 psi at WOT and and on the road it peaks over 25psi That is without the boost controller (actuator connected directly to the turbo) It seems I might have to modify the wastegate now???? Any thoughts? It did make good power though! 385Kw @ wheels I really want to run 15-20psi Max
  4. Im in the process of modifying my 07 BF2, so far I have done; Xforce 4" dump and 3.5" single system Turbo smart 14psi actuator Hdi intercooler kit under battery intake/pod filter Walbro fuel pump upgrade Now I know I will need different injectors but dont know which ones?? 40lb-60lb or more? Im aiming for at least 300 to 350 RwKw on the dyno.. Any advice would be awesome
  5. Hi guys, does anyone know if the xr6 plenum is the same as the xr6 turbo?? The non turbo ones are probably more common and cheaper here in NZ Im thinking of getting a plenum and modifing it to have a front facing throttle body The idea is to use the bottom half and make a top for it...Anyone done this before Cheers
  6. Was a company car up to 120kms, the guy I got it from said that the exhaust was all he had played with (retard) and the engine bay is stock Havent had it dyno'd or plugged in yet so it could be tuned or was tuned? but I dont think so... Im planning to replace the hole system soon anyway, but was more concerned about possible engine mount problem? I have seen mounts for sale on ebay including some billet nolathane types and it made me think its a common thing?
  7. I recently picked up my bf2 turbo and have noticed that when turning hard left around twisty roads at 35-50kms/hr the exhaust hits the chassis rail. I had a look while it was on the hoist at the tyre shop and could see where the pipe had been hitting...it is hitting at the first "Y" splitter (stock system). It looked like it only had 10mm gap between them which I thaught was not enough It seems worse when your on the brakes and hitting bumps The guy I baught it off said ,he used to run it with the first flange unbolted cause it sounded good.....Maybe its bent? I suspect the engine mounts are f**ked , but would like to hear if this is a common thing or not ??? Its done 130,000kms

Getting very impatient but im sure its worth the wait Im quietly planning some lite mods for now while shes not looking, like k&n panel filter and second snorkel and cat removal Can anyone tell me if there's a good tuner in BOP? I've seen some pretty mean Ts on youtube and its hard not to want that! I'll get a pic on asap
  10. Hi everyone, looks like I wont be leaving my chair today with all the stuff to read on this cool site! I pickup my bf2 xr6t this week... Its a 2007 130,000kms 6speed auto stock standard gunmetal grey. Paid $15500 NZ which is pretty good value down here cause the delers are still wanting over 20k It has a good service history and the engine oil is a nice light gold colour Ive read that the BA models had some problems with: Trans cooler cracking and letting water into the trans? HIM unit that controls the heater fan etc Hopefully the bf2 has improved these issues??? Please let me know Cheers
