Remsa Pads

I have had my remsas fitted with Dba t3s for a month and they are really good They are a little dusty but I have found the brake dust is easier to clean off than my old pads I have found them to be pretty good on the noise side of things too, they don't squeal at all and the only noise is under harder braking you can hear them but it is still pretty quiet Only thing I have noticed is that moving in slow traffic the pads seem to grab at the rotors and make shuddering noises but this is only on start stop sort of thing Regardless of this I would recommend them to anyone the stopping power and initial bite is awesome
  2. That's what I love about my desk at the office Out the window I can see my car and a nice river view :-)
  3. My bf mk2 came with a 17" steel rim as a spare And it's not an ex cop car
  4. My mate bought a bf xr6t a couple months ago and when I drove it I noticed the same problem you did He replaced his coil packs and it has been gone since then
  5. I have noticed mine doing it too especially now that it is getting colder Only does it once then it's all good when it is warm I had my zf serviced 12 months ago with genuine zf fluid
  6. I had one fitted 6 months ago and it recently developed a hole in it It was a cheap one from eBay that was a composite material I am getting it replaced on Thursday and the turbo specialist doing the work explained that running a gasket is best but to fit a crushable metal gasket so it stays together

  11. Ok thanks for all your help
I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and just get it done
  12. My uncle who is a recently retired mechanic told me about it and I had heard on here that there is a tool that could do the Diff bushes without removing the cradle

Ok thanks that answers my question about the blade bushes so it is the Diff bushes that is driving up the cost of it
  13. I know that Ford have a special tool for changing the Diff bushes without dropping the rear cradle but I was wondering whether the blade bushes have to have the rear cradle dropped or whether they can be fitted using the Diff bush tool.
I have been quoted by 2 places and they were both around $600 and they said the rear end needs to be dropped.
Are they trying to rip me off or is this reasonable?

Also where is the best place in the Newcastle area for this work I'm having a hard time finding someone to do it.
  14. Not sure what sort of damage you are talking about fixing but if it is gutter rash that can be fixed easily enough I have done that myself but if you have bent a wheel it is stuffed
  15. I have that exact pump and it worked great when I changed the fluid in my diff
  16. It was from an online store
It was $40 and it was the cheapest option I could find
I originally ordered a rip off TRD one with the intention of ripping the sticker off but it turned out to be the wrong size and I couldn't find one to fit
Here is the link
http://www.taipanmotorsport.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=37&category_id=4&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=60&vmcchk=1&Itemid=60
  17. I received my new billet oil cap today from taipan motorsport
I had heard about a few dramas with the standard one breaking and I had the screw fitting on my oil breather hose snap so I bought one straight away
It's billet aluminium and it is black and it looks standard so I am very happy
  18. I read a recommendation on here from a professional Detailer and they use 303 aerospace protectant and I have started using it too and it leaves a very nice natural matte finish

But if you want something you can get from supercheap than meguiars natural shine protectant is also good
  19. I repainted one of my wheels yesterday and one today I bogged up the gutter rash on all four a year ago and have only gotten around to painting them today. one is a picture of one of the unpainted wheels which all four look liked like and the other the finished product of the one I did this morning I will do the rest another weekend and upload more pictures and the centre cap is missing because all the clips behind it broke when it came off, I have ordered a new pair that should be here this week and should look alot better
