  1. The nuts are done up pretty tight on the back of the gauge It says to in the instructions? The oil passes through the opening in the middle....
  2. I guess its possible but I doubt it I didn't use a lot of teflon. Might have to check
  3. Have an autometer oil pressure gauge all wired up but can't get it to read anything. I've tested all the wiring with a test light. The ignition source (spliced off cigarette lighter) is strong and the ground seems to be strong (screwed to a sanded area of the aluminium framing behind the dash). The sender wire is very dim on the test light but I assumed this was because there is not much pressure as the car idles. However, when I rev it I though the signal would increase but it doesn't. Can anyone suggest where I'm going wrong?
  4. Surprised they didn't take the boost higher with those mods?
  5. I have a Bf MkII Xr6t ute which today ran 301kw @ 12psi. I tried to keep things as cheap as possible. Mods: Process West Stage 1 Intercooler (Bought used off a user on this site ~15 000kms use $425) Walbro intank fuel pump (Purchased this new off eBay in a cradle so straight swap over, no re-wiring $270) Magnaflow high flow cat (New eBay $160, $120 to install) 60lb Deka injectors (Purchased off Gumtree - never used $170!, $150 to install) Flash Tuner (Gumtree - used, unlocked *apparently* $330) Unfortunately it didn't all go to plan and the tuner said the flash tuner was still locked whilst the seller swears black and blue it's never been used. So I got the tuner to supply their own (at full retail obviously :( $1675 fully tuned) and will work the locked one out when I can be stuffed. So all up it cost me around $2700(or $3030 including the first flash tuner) which I think is great considering you can spend this much on an intercooler setup alone. It probably would of only cost $2200 if the flash tuner worked too! The extra power is great, couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I picked it up this afternoon. Bring on Powercruise this weekend!
  6. Looks like you've removed the vacuum line to the bov so it's not opening hence the tututu sound
  7. Do you really lose that much power with a dose pipe over stock intake? Mine seems a bit laggier down low but that's about it. Also getting my car tuned soon with stock setup. Will fitting a dose pipe afterwards make it run lean or anything?
