I have a 2010 XR6T, Curious to know is it critical the get same year model for the Radio Antenna Mounting Amplifier Assembly ? As stock my premium sound system is making static noise even when radio is off. Cheers JB

Thank you Spook, disconnecting the speaker, then you installed a DIN head unit ? did the static noise go then, once installed new unit ? what DIN head unit do you recommend ?

What could it be??? No consistency, totally random, I loose radio some times when the noise is active. it even happens when radio is off.

Hello Fellow Ford lovers, I'm getting a loud static noise(like pugging in amp into electric guitar) out of my speakers even when the radio is off. No consistency at all, it wont happen for a few days, then I might happen a few times every 5min. I had my roof liner done a couple months ago, could it possibly be my antenna loose connection ? Might be coincidence, but I was watching my mobile, rested it on dash instrument cluster for about 30min , when it first started happening.(had radio on at the time) Cheers Nudie.

I have Dunlop SP 2030, they seem fantastic, but not reall good km's out if them on the rear. What is your opinion on these ? Kybus
