  2. Happy Birthday Pearse!

  3. BPT just told me this arvo that they can unlock and retune them???
  4. Had the exact same problem, fixed it all with new plugs, my old ones had a .95mm gap, put my new bosch iridiums pre set to .7mm in and no leaning out or backfiring on full throttle at all.
  5. And an ED fairmont ghia lowered with inverted inner pursuitees. Also I've seen a few different modifications to xr8 bulges, one and two "flutes" in them, looks good

    Spacers!

I've got a ba xr6t. I'm running aftermarket 17's with stock tyre size with 15mm spacers, not bolt on, been doing it for 10k now, no problems, if anything it helps in the corners.
  7. Alright, I'm 18 years old, still on my green p's (WA) and have owned: 1988 L series wagon, Lifted 3 inches, exhaust, full sound system, wish I still had it 1989 EA falcon sedan, started off bog stock falling apart manual, ended up 200hp EL dash and engine converted, lowered, so much fun to drive and way cheaper to modify 1969 XW falcon 500 ute, bought this from an old boy at the age of 17, will never part with it, 200ci six cylinder 3spd manual on the tree, awesome experience to drive 2004 BA xr6T
  8. This is my ba xr6t, BF bumper, xr8 bonnet, rip off drift rims, debadged except the turbo badge, blitz blow off valve, centre muffler removed, when I get a bit more money I'll up the power but until then this is it.
  9. I had the mod done to my Ba xr6t in an effort to create a louder note, I think it's the best 100 bucks I've spent on the car, mines an auto and the noise it makes cruising around town at low revs is deeper and ballsier than my previous N/A falcons with full exhaust and extractors, only other thing that might make it that bit better is to hear the turbo from a bigger dump pipe??
  10. Had the centre muffler removed a few days ago by Mettam's Mufflers in Kelmscott, did a pretty good job, sounds wicked, makes driving my car actually enjoyable, $100 bloody well spent, It's got a nice low rumble on idle but also awesome hitting second gear coming down from third when slowing down, orgasmd
  11. Thanks for all the help and advice guys, Ranger Auto Electrics found both a fuse and a relay that I'd stuffed, meaning that when I was eliminating the fuses and relays singly I wouldn't of found anything that looked out of place. I now have the Turbo timer hooked up with o2 sensor and AF/R, couldn't be happier to be driving my xr6turbo again
  12. I don't do burnouts on my street, and who says every time I stop it's at my house? I won't be installing the turbo timer, I think I've figured out what I need, it's the electronic diagnostic tool thingy that you plug in and find out what's wrong, if not something that resets the ecu or alarm or something, and no I didn't fry any of the wires I touched to the 12v constant, I can't see anything that looks wrong with it at all
  13. A few times now yeah, I'm wondering if the fact that my stereo says code has anything to do with it??
  14. Ok will have to borrow a multimeter tomorrow. Are we still stuck on fuses? is it completely out of the question that by shorting out the constant 12v, acc and coil wires, I've triggered an alarm or complete shut out?
  15. The first thing I did was return the wiring back to how it was, there is no turbo timer anymore, I still can't start my car, I've checked all fuses twice now, I think it's either alarm related or ecu related, how can I test this? I've removed the negative battery terminal which I read on here "resets" the ecu, not sure how true that is, I've also read of a very similar problem from another member which was just his ignition fuse, I can assure you mine is fine, I really wish I hadn't of attempted it now
  16. Ok so I did a couple of tests, stole some power from the igition barrel light and hooked it straight up to the 12v constant at first, turned the key and I got a relay noise from the engine bay then a low pitch beep and the abs light and a hazard light came on the dash, also my stereo now says code when you try turn it on, this is getting bad
  17. I just checked all of the fuses in the car and in the engine bay, they all seem fine, plus I'm getting power to the cluster in the from of my odometer reading is there but when I attach my test light to the main power coming off the ignition barrel/ constant 12v is doesn't light up anymore
  18. I haven't figured that out yet, but today I accidentally touched one or all of the 3 wires together whilst my car was running and it died, now I can't get it to start again, any help would be appreciated
  19. I'm human therefore no, I'm not 100% sure, but I will try changing the acc and on wires to see if I did that backwards, and also hooking up the 02 sensor wire and the handbrake wire, if none of this works I'll be dissapointed, haha, the only reason I want it is for the convenience of not having to wait in your car for that long when you stop, and not having to drive sedately for a controlled time before stopping, also I'm a gadget man so it's cool to have, and it's most of the way in so I don't want to go back now, does the driving sedately thing apply to if I wanted to run 12-14psi of boost with the correct supporting mods in the near future?
  20. Yeah I'm sitting in it now for 30 seconds after a long drive, just as a practice, but I'd rather install the turbo timer, in regards to the alarm system it's turning off even when the keys in, and I hooked up the red - yellow, Blue - white possible with stripe, and green - red with green stripe, I havn't yet hooked up handbrake or o2 sensor I installed as per these instructions posted on a faggy skyline site after typing how to install apexi into google. (Hi. Since no one replied, so I decided to do this by hardwiring. Pretty easy stuff actually. Here's simple instruction: timer red goes to +12V constant (white + red stripe from ign) timer blue goes to ACC signal (blue from ign wiring) timer green goes to ON signal (black + yellow stripe from ign wiring) gray goes to e-brake signal white goes to o2 sensor black to ECU ground if white connected to O2 sensor, to chassis if white not connected anywhere) I also figured out tonight that the light next to the 30 seconds countdown on the screen is orange, not green like it's supposed to be, like when I turn it to the voltage meter it's green, so I'm wondering if that leads to any sort of direct answer to which wires aren't connected/ are in the wrong place.
  21. Hey everyone, I've got an Apexi turbo timer and have been trying to install it and get it to work, well only this afternoon anyway. I've hooked up the correct wires which I chopped out of the plug into what I think are the right wires coming from the ignition barrel being: constant 12v yellow, accessories white, and finally device on to the red one with I think the green stripe which if I'm not mistaken is the coil. I also obviously put the earth wire to a bolt. The device has 2 other wires that I havn't connected being the A/F wire and the 02 wire. Now to my problem, the lights come on the device, it says 30 seconds, I drive the car around for a while and then turn it off expecting the turbo timer to kick in, and the car just shuts off, need help please
