  1. I have 2010 silver xr6t. All the extras eg leather sound tints etc. Got standard 18" wheels I think... Not the five spokes Anyway, I've modded to 296rwkw manual and am thinking about sone new wheels. As u can imagine traction is a prob under full boost even the dry.., Wondering what others have fitted that look the goods with the silver and also the best width and diameter to keep a nice ride while adding to the traction probs... I'm in sydney. Thing 245 front 275 rear prob 18".., any thoughts? Gunmetal grey should. Suit the silver?? Cheers
  2. Ok well better finding out late than never! Only been 1 week so hopefully it's ok. I'll make some enquiries through the week with the shops I should have gone with in first place. I should have posted on here and asked u guys before I made the decision. Cheers to everyone I really appreciate the help . Hopefully get my beast sorted and ready for some fun soon I'll let yous know Dave
  3. Mate he was cheap but bta were about the same. Spoke with Ali and he was very helpful. Yeh kosij they did parts n all. I knew the afternoon I picked it up the way he was after I paid the guy I knew I chose the wrong place. Kosij if your running 17 psi then is 18-19 that much worse. Maybe lower reading dyno? The car really does fly. Another thing is the flash box supposed to have x3 written on it? Mine doesn't. I might check he even put other tunes on before I call him! So these guys should be avoided for turbos hey? No one thinks the tune is acceptable/safe? Thanks guys
  4. Yeh fair call rookie error but they have plenty of recommendations I saw. Admittedly they were all bloody Holdens and v8s! I Spose I shouldn't be so trusting. Hard to ask money back he did say initially he'd go to 18 psi. I thought oh well they should know. I wonder how the work on the bolt on bits are too..... Fair dinkum

  6. So basically that is way too much boost and ordinary results too. When I went to pick the car up hardly gave me time of day. Said car is ready to go it's all in there. I asked questions he didn't want to talk. Didn't even show me dyno printout. I emailed him very next day queried boost, stock dyno printout etc. Never heard back. Friggin new I should have went with bta! So advice anyone???? Take it back? Leave as is?? Or go to someone who actually takes their time to satisfy the customer?

  8. It's about 2 he trip each way just don't have the time ATM. They've been mentioned a bit on here (not sure if a sponsor) so I trusted their judgement. As for posting dyno sheet mate I've only got an I-phone and am bit computer illiterate! Tried to load it as a photo but I have nfi
  9. We offer sct flash and custom dyno tune for $1450.00 Herrod pipe kit and cold air induction for $1100.00 60lb injectors $550 All prices include fitting. Expect up to 330rwkw depending on exhaust system that is on the vehicle" Was an extra 400 for hi flow cat Was $3500 all up plus he gapped spark plugs Made 296kw with pretty flat power curve;)
  10. So general consesus is query why so much boost and why such average power?
  11. First night I got it was driving pretty hard it was sounding like it was spinning up a lot . I actually thought may be over boosting. Since then I have heard it being limited. Prob is the bloke won't respond to my emails now. Should prob get some balls and call him I Spose. Most other tuners recommended 14psi but I went for the one who offered most power!
  12. Cool thanks all. He was Said should get about 310 but the 296kw is enough for now. I'll no doubt get used to it and want more power down the track. Hopefully it doesn't lose too much during summer. Might use different workshop
  13. Yeh looking at it better is about 19 psi peak fading to about 15psi. Yes did the I/c piping. Just a bit annoyed at the customer service but it goes well so can't complain
  14. Yeh got power printout. He said would run 18 psi when I was organizing the work. When I picked up the car was late in the day he sorta pushed me out the door. I've sent some emails but haven't heard back as yet. The car is a beast now though I'm very happy with performance although does have traction issues!! Especially in the cold nights , makes for good fun
