Thanks. Is 32% Fuel Trim normal after a battery reset. Seems excessive to me and explains the increased fuel.comsumption. Does it mean someone's tuned it to be richer.

Hey BAT gurus, I reset the ECU by leaving the battery off for a few days and then plugged an ELM327 in and using Car Scanner with ignition on it scanned STFT B1 as 32.03% and STFT B2 as 32.03% and O2 Sensor 1 B2 as 1.28V. I've attached the Screenshots. Are these readings right as the car is completely stock but uses 15L/100km City Cycle.

Cheapest tyres that won't foul the arms and keep the speedo within +/- 5km. Not much up here in Townsville but I can get Yoky V105 - 225/45/18 cheap @ $200 each or a Triangle 235/40/18 @ $135 or stick with a Hilo or Winrun 245/40/18 at $150. Load ratings are all at least 93. It's a stock daily driver with 180k.

Quick Question What size tyres other than 245/40/18 have you fitting on the front and rear of a standard height suspension 2005 BA2 XR6T Sedan with 18" FG Snowflakes. Thanks.

Thanks mate. Been scraping for hours. I'd say the previous mechanic siliconed it all up before I bought it to pass the Safety Certificate. I'm using Brake Cleaner but it's not working. I'll keep scraping.

Hey Fellow T's, How do you remove melted rocker cover gasket. The rest was melted and brittle and when removed took half the red paint off but is finally out. The 2 hour gasket job is in its 2nd day. Cheers.

I ended up putting 245/40/18 Boto Vantage H8 on the FG Snowflakes on my BA Turbo Sedan and the so called rim protector did nothing to stop just minor gutter rash when I just touched the gutter when parallel parking so I am getting 235/40/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 dirt cheap. Just didn't know if they will foul the front strut arm thingo. The backs should be fine.

Hey mate, did you end up making one yourself. I looked at a heap of 90 degree rubber boots but no luck. I think the FG vent hose uses the same rubber boot and is much cheaper than the BA one.

Hey, can you just replace the rubber boot on the 6C661 or is it fixed to the plastic tubing.

My 05 BA2 T M6 always sat just slightly above 1/4 and after the 160k coolant change at 33.3/40% it sits between 1/3 and 1/2 now. It's 16yo totally stock and still going hard but noticed on YouTube most T's sit below the 1/2 mark. Everyday I don't ring RACQ for a tow is a blessing 🤞

Hey Guys, I too have had the Clutch Return Spring snap and cut my right leg. It's a BA2 Turbo with the T56. The Clutch Pedal was always heavy with the Standard Ford Clutch and after the Xtreme HD Clutch was installed it was just as heavy then it just snapped. In the morning the Pedal is slightly depressed and after a few pumps it seems to come back to normal height. Can you let me know what Valve Spring you used as I thought it had a hook end but if it is a flat end even better. Thanks.

Hey mate, I know it's 10 years later but did the GM Alloy CSC work on the Ford T56. I went to buy one for $70 and was told the GM CSC had a smaller bore hole and would not fit over the Ford input shaft so I bought the Mal Wood Ford Alloy CSC for $200.

Hey, any T56 owners out there can tell me if the clutch line broke off or the CSC fitting broke off ??? Is there a braided clutch line available ??? It's an Xtreme HD Clutch and CrMo Flywheel kit with the CSC installed Nov 2017 with 20,000km on it.

Cheers guys. Carmichael Ford in Townsville will only sell me the complete tailshaft for $1,700 and said the coupling is not available separately for the BA Turbo. I told him that the BA XR8 coupling was the same and he said that was $240 but not in stock. I was told it was made in Germany and then was told that Kelpro and Transgold were half the price and came out of the same SGF factory in Germany. I've been quoted $95 for the Mackay one but was told it was made in China. I'll try and source a Genuine one ?

So no-one has replaced their tailshaft coupling at all or remember what brand they used ???
