  1. Turned out to be the abs sensor on the front left - grabbed a 2nd handy to try as a stop gap to see and whammo all good
  2. I didn't think I was still signed on on one occasion - sorry
  3. Hi Guy's it's been a while but I have been lurking just not posting. My fg Ute went in for new front rotors, pads & wheel bearing hub replacement yesterday. I supplied all parts got a call to say the car was throwing up an ABS fault as soon as you drive it . He scanned it and it read a abs fault left front. Said it was likely one of my new hubs may have been faulty. Due to time he ordered another hub through his supplier fitted it and still the same fault. Not sure what to do at this point so after reading in this forum about the brake pedal switch common fault causing an ABS fault I suggested changing that as it's cheap. He is not convinced that will fix it as the brake lights work (and he doesn't want to guess and throw parts at it). I asked if he has interfered with the abs sensor but he was 100% convinced he has not done anything to it in anyway. Where do I go to from here? should I get him to put the old hub on and see if the abs fault comes up if it does it must be the abs sensor, if it goes away could it be the non genuine hub? sorry guy's for the questions - this should have been a very simple on & off job but it's fast becoming not & I'm out of idea's
  4. No it's second hand and by looking at the pics had a fair bit of use not really fussed about noise rather a bit quieter than louder If they are $550 new it is not worth the $400 used cheers
  5. Hi Guy's I noticed a few day's ago my rear muffler split around the weld joining the pipe. So I started hunting for a replacement. Then I managed to score a new complete standard system of a 2012 XR6T for $80 that only had 1500kms on it. Was going to fit it this week end when I came across an X FORCE mild steel twin 2.5inch cat back system for $380. Not sure what to do here. My question is - Is the twin 2.5 x force system much better performance wise than the new standard system I'm about to put on? Not worrying about sound more is it worth the $300 difference in price? being I already have the new standard system ready to go My G6Et is tuned and is putting out low 300's I need to act soon any advice would be fantastic
  6. I hope you didn't mind I used your car as a screen saver, mines in the process at the moment same colour combo about to lower it then wheels, brakes ect.. great choice bud looks fantastic.
  7. I have an 09 G6ET I'm located SE Melb LSX garage did my tuning.
  8. Thanks for the response I'm also changing out an ebay cooler for a plazmaman 800hp unit and just found out my tuner has closed up shop so he can't touch up my tune. I'm a bit lost right now but if I have to have someone retune it I was considering an e85 tune but wasn't sure what I needed to change. I'm only expecting around 330 ish as well being my cars previous tune was 300.
  9. What did you need to step to an E85 tune? aside from injectors -I have all the usual mods along with 1000cc injectors was it just fuel system changes??

    Stalling

Mine was tuned about 6 month's ago and has stalled 3 times I keep meaning to catch up with the tuner but being it's a long time in between I forget about it. Mines an 09 model as well
  11. That's a good result mine with the same mod's only went 300rwkw
  12. This would be one of the best looking F6 I have seen in a long time
  13. What kit was it you used? did you install yourself?
  14. Hi Guy's Just picked up a G6ET in Ego with cashmire interior 67,000 on the clock from a non ford dealer. So far loving it and drive it every where we can. My question is what's the best way to check the diff bushes before the 3 month dealer warranty expires? Also with that amount of km's done should I look at replacing the heat exchanger to prevent the dreaded milk shake from happening? This is my first turbo ford after a long string of LSxx Series vehicles and so far very impressed :newrussian:
