I recon alot of people will struggle to fund the engine tune as well as a trans tune in one shot. I wouldnt be supprised if they get the eng tune + all the mods, then save and come back later down the track for the trans.

yep I was listening to the game on the radio. it was over by the first quarter hahahah shyfrd...I read it in the paper I think. the article was talking about the LPI gas falcon and comparing it to the petrol model falcon. anyways I read a line saying blah blah new update/facelift early 2012 something like that. I will try and find the article again next week.

fark 148 bucks to tighten and clean? that's a $140 profit to them. I wouldnt have paid it and it is a warranty job anyways. go get your money back. so the software update fixed this prob for you RHR? why didnt they offer this in Lukes case?

mine doesnt sound tinny at all, I recon it sounds more like a wannabe V8. (in a good way). has a pretty deep idle which sounds dam . dunno what it sounds like when driving though. mines its loudest from 1500rpm to 2500rpm give or take. anything around this its not so bad. I really need someone to drive it so I can follow and listen. keep yas posted on this. I had a cat back on my old VT V6, I would say its much the same. VT had centre muffler and a rear resinator. 2 1/2 inch from memory.

"When someone pulls into my braking distance I feel like parking the truck in there backseat". hahah...funny you say that cause a place I used to work at, one of the guys did just that. a few cars dived into the lane we were in for some reason and cut our braking distance in half, a 5 tonne truck fully loaded with 5 tonnes isnt stopping in a hurry. the bull bar did all the work. stainless. those rear wheels would fit perfectly under the fg's pumped rear guards if you didnt have the tray. hmm those rims might help fill my guards come to think of it.

yer luke mine does this as well, but sometimes (once a week) it works as it should. it only just started doing it over the last month. I forgot to mention it to the service guys the other day when the ute was there for service let us know what ford say and what the fix is. but yes annoying.

ok I finally got this done on the FG ute this morning. 160 bucks and this place didnt hesitate at all doing it so I assumed they have done it before. Thoughts: centre muffler is massive and pretty heavy, no wonder its so quiet. The sound on start up is perfect, doesnt drone at any speed, not too loud at all. I was exspecting it too be even louder than it is, even though mine stock was very very quiet compared to other stock T's. I think these should be this loud at stock. cheers
