  6. Still trail riding. Doing Kenilworth to Imbil and return on Saturday. If you're looking at riding South East Queensland (rego & licence required), try www.trailrideraustralia.com Mark
  7. Good to see you on here Rabs. Hope you're still enjoying the XR6T. A couple of shots from a Fraser Island ride in May (complete with a local's private tour). Mark
  8. Do you select first, and then reverse? Seems like a silly question, but I find it makes selecting reverse easier. Mark
  9. Delivered 18/11/2009. It's turned out to be a pretty special car, and well worth the wait! Mark
  10. Good luck in getting them to the party. I hope it works out. I once ordered an air conditioned XF 250 4 speed ute (showing a bit of age). Couldn't do the speed limit west of Ipswich without it overheating. Went back to the dealer as a warranty claim, and was told that if I'd ordered the car with factory air conditioning, I would have automatically gotten a larger radiator. Because mine was dealer fitted, I got the standard radiator. My reply was that I'd ordered an air condtioned ute, and if it can't do the speed limit on the bitumen, it's faulty. Ford stuck to their guns, and I had to buy the larger radiator. Mark
  11. 1500k's down the track, and I'm more than happy with the manual FG XR6T. A little clunky as some have commented, but that's not the gearbox. I'll take a manual over an auto any day. The responsiveness in using the throttle to create the right attitude in a corner, I've never been able to master with an auto. Mark
  12. It had the luxury & tech packs which includes the leather interior. White paint. Mark
  13. Q Ford have a white manual XR6 Turbo sedan demonstrator for $47,500.00 with about 1000k's on the clock. I would have dealt with them (still ordering the Nitro) if Bryan Byrt hadn't pulled the deal they did out of the hat. Mark
  14. Just ended up going through Bryan Byrt in Upper Mt Gravatt (Brisbane). Nitro sedan, with the luxury & tech packs, reversing sensors, and a few goodies. $48,345.85. Bryan Byrt ended up being about $800.00 under everybody else, including a deal that was supposed to be pretty special through the Master Builders. Bryan Byrt obviously still want our business. Ordered 30/9/2009. November build, with delivery expected mid to late November, but warned it could get pushed to mid December. Mark
