    Xr6 Turbo's
  1. Bogan's wouldn't settle for anything other than a V8 Preferably pushrods HOLDEN = WIN
  2. Havn't driven the new 5L xr8 but anything before that fords never had anything on holen when it comes to 8's You'll be paying more for insurance and fuel anyways, turbo 6 is just as fast if not faster I'm proud of my 4jz
  3. I set mine about 40 as well, just don't go under 35 otherwise the factory rims will start getting bent (if you choose to keep the factory ones)
  4. 450kw should be enough to get to 320 at least
  5. Is this the one in Queensland that I'm thinking of?? Yes or No
  6. It's the only place you can actually get to use the car's full power, and handling http://fooyoh.com/?mid=car_video&watch=pQy2tfkX7Pk Wouldn't mind one of them boxer motors too
  7. Sell it and get an xr6 turbo
  8. Boy was I looking forward to the 3.5 Direct Injection twin turbo, never arrived Or at least they should attempt on direct inject the current 4L Turbo, the typhoon will soon be 360 instead of the 310 You don't need an 8 to go fast these days

  11. It seems like dealer servicing always try and educate vehicle owners on the benefits of increasing the duration during service intervals and most likely be of two reasons: 1) Help trim some of the running cost by owners and.... 2) More wear and tear due to lesser TLC = more cars sold as most cars will past it's usefulness That's like saying it's better to wash your socks after wearing it twice after a hot, humid day at the soccer practice than to wash it straigaht after wearing it once Change your oil at 5k u're car is stock
  12. APS did it years ago in a 5 speed BA with a stage 3 kit on an airport in victoria back in 03' Can't see how hard it is to get over the 300km/h barrier, even with the zf All you need is boost up and heaps of camber / good coilover / stronger chassis
  13. Speedo reads 200km/h @ 4th gear, 5000rpm, into 5th at 6000rpm @ 210km/h, so yes the magic wire is probabty giving out the false reading (So it gives the cops themselves the false sensation of having a true highway cruiser), great, so we've all spent money buying a "performance" car that can only travel up to 180km/hI can do faster than that in my 6 speed manual mazda sp25 c'mon guys we all know it's bullsh1t those T's are more than capable of doing more than 200, even the vy utes have a top speed of 270 And yes, freeway runs are bad mmmmkay the only reason why folks used to do it is simply because you cannot drive a car to it's full capacity on the street or on the track, as much as you can hammer your car on the track it cannot possibly perform at it's fullest, the only place left is the freeway I have since retreated the T back onto daily drive "overtaking duties" only
