Finally a bit of luck after waiting 4weeks after taking my car back to ford they replaced the Zfbox and heat exchange after it failed, I had my doubts but they came through, I think they should start helping a few other blokes with this problem...

First thing did it stuff your valve body? And how did you go about fixing yours, and what prices if you dont mind sharing it. cheers.

Im also in the same boat, out of warrenty the heat exchange sh*t its self. wrecked the valve body in the box now they want $6000 just for a valve body. Q; this is the second time this has happend to me GRrrrrrr.

Well so far my car is at ford pending approval for an order on a transmission. Its been 2weeks surely someone can make a decision. The stats are its been under 12mths and ive done 19,500klms they're warranty states 12mths or 20,000klms on parts what ever comes first.Q:This the same place I purchased the now f...ed transmission and heat exchange from.First I purchased the car $30,000 plus on rd costs, then after being denied the warranty on the first box due to upgrades on the car, which after plenty of dispute ended up costing around $8000 just to get moving it all has happened again.. Im filthy at the hole out come so far.. I certainly cant affored this problem again...

I dont think ford will warranty anything that is bolted to an inhanced vehicle even if they did waranty it. Its the transmission im really concerned with.. the heat exchange is 180 the trans is 7400.

Hi, new here.. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.. )& BFll XR6T 440rwhp heaps of mods surge tank, 870injectors prosess west cooler 4inch dump pipe, bigger front housing on the turbo and 3moubths ago I had a heat exchange fail and filled my transmission full of coolant and my coolant full of oil. which inturn wrecked the electronic valve body and I was quoted $6000 to replace it. in the end an exchange box was $7400 and I replaced the heat exchange. .. and low and behold its happened again right on the 3month mark.... There has to be a cheaper way around this problem, have any of yous had such an issue. although my car has been inhanced is ford liable for any of this..? thx

my car was tuned with a prosses west cooler & piping 4"intake, p west serge tank, 42psi injectors, AR.70 front housing on the turbo moded waiste gate and nizpo valve springs and was dyno'd at 329Rwk 14psi with the SCT tunner, I was told by a different party that my injectors were to small and I needed to upgrade them if I wanted anymore hp.So I installed a set of 870 injectors & then got it tuned by the different party in wich they used the vcm suite and it returned with 316rwk. obviously I want to return to the SCT pre tuned that stored on my tuner and was wondering if it will just programme strait back on even know the injectors were changed?
