I rang a few auto places around Sydney and the general answer I got was to break the gearbox first, then get it fixed and strengthend. The reasoning behind this line of thinking is that it will cost you a lot less money in the long run because the 4 speed box is mechanicaly weak so why modify the auto because you do not know which part of it will give out. Save your money until you break it. It does make sense. I am running 330kw at the rears with a slightly modded auto($1500) and I know that it wont last too much longer. Better to spend your money later on a broken box than to spend it now whilst your auto is still working. The chance is that what ever you do to modify the auto it will be some other part that was not modified that will break. SAVE YOUR MONEY UNTIL IT IS TIME TO DO IT. KILLER
