  1. On the scientific periodical table of elements, Hg is the symbol for Mercury, Ag is the symbol for Silver. Just like N2O, N = Nitrogen, O = Oxygen, therefore: Nitrous Oxide. God, I sound like my bloody science teacher did.
  2. I don't know for sure, but I thought a turbo engine always used lower viscosity oil than naturally aspirated. Please correct me if wrong.
  3. I'm glad I have my licence, and have all that sh*t out of my system now. I would hate to be going for my licence at this day of age. Don't forget that a 200kw single spinner is totally different to one with a LSD. They are definately scary in the wet.
  4. F#@K Street Machine. I have Issue # 1 to current of AMC and I still can't believe I've wasted all that money on Street Machine since '89. AMC is readable from cover to cover, with articles & info more factual & interesting than any other publication I have ever read. It is a history lesson on our Australian heritage of performance cars.
  5. As a father of 3 daughters (God help me), I suggest the obvious choice for me, is to purchase a commodore, VK - VS, (depending on budget), and use it to transport the rugrats around without worrying about the mess of food, drink, foot scuffs, vomit, pissing, faeces, and any other mess you'll encounter with your beloved young ones. Even feel free to piss on it yourself. Keep the T in as pristine condition as you can. You will not regret this at trade-in time.

    Speed Kills

I think these accidents can happen in any vehicle, all cars have potentially enough power to break speed limits and loss of control. I can't help but think there will be a lawsuit against the salesman or the dealership in this case. Sad.
  8. Saw a bloke pulled over years ago by a silver series 5 RX-7 unmarked. Don't forget many years ago, coppers used the Cooper S. A variety is good to keep us on our toes.
  9. XR6T giveaway from supercheap autos in October, GT giveaway from Inside Sport in Nov/Dec. Can't wait till Janurary, What's next ???
  10. I can't help but find it funny when the cars I drove when on my P's had no airbags, T/C, ABS, Premium brakes, computer designed suspension or decent tyres yet same engine outputs, and now you are limited and even fined ? I suppose we can thank a few dickhead drivers over the years for this, but I don't understand the fact that a Hyundai Daewoo is capable of high speed, (not as quickly as a T), and is not a restricted car. I'd feel 100 times safer in the T, that's for sure. P.S. Thanks to my daddy, I have driven some very nice machines !!!
  11. I wouldn't go past a Bathurst Falcon Cobra, one of the first 30. Second choice would be a Bolwell Nagari, a mates father in law has one and went for an unforgettable cruise in it. The XU-1 is defiately very quick, pity about those brakes once they got hot !!! Mine had solid discs, dunno about the Bathurst ones though. A Godzilla is a good choice, turbotom.
  12. AHHHH !!! Thought entries closed on 11th, I have 12 entries in my bin!!! Good Luck any site members that entered.
