  1. Only gust found this thread. What cable/program are you using to set up the car and can you still get it? Sound good that you can program new keys to the bem unit. I though that it was a major to get new keys programed. Could work out cheaper to buy the cable than to go to ford to replace keys.
  2. Phat custom kits are rubbish I bough a 1st grade kit off them (specifically asked for 1st grade) and what I got was crap. The front bumper had cracks in the Gel coat and chips (under the gel coat) I also asked for a BFGT rear bumper and was sent a BAGT rear bumper witch is of no use to me and might as well have been for a Toyota and it was 2nd hand (painted and cracked) witch I managed to get $100.00 back off phatcustomkits because supposedly that's all they charged me for the back bumper. The side skirts are even worse and are supposed to fit but don't When I hit up Ronny Klik, there answer was "it's the way we made it, thanks" and as not intending to help me out anymore. The front guard panel in about 20mm to short to fit. I have now found out that they are for the AU falcon wagon not the BF to witch all the other part are for and despite ron klik admitting they are different he then turns around and said that there is no difference Even without the side skirts been wrong they are made so badly that to get them to fit is a mission. I have spent about 6 hours just trying to get them straight and are still far from looking right but I am beyond the point of no return I think. Ron calls them custom so no one can say that they do not look right because they are custom. imo So I would advise everyone that if you time is worth more than $1/hour or want there car to look good closer than 100m, imo stay away from Ron Klik Phat Custom Kits 57 Bennet st, Dandenong VIC 3175
  3. If you want the front sensors auto you could pull the tailgate release button out from the dash and the -ve wire to the switch turns off above 10km/h, So normally when driving they are off and when below 10km/h e.g. moving slowly into a park they turn on. If you had a relay output from the reverse sensor unit when it sense anything you could switch on a tft colour screen (factor colour icc) hocked to a camera in the grill and see in front as well.
  4. Just wondering it looks like the standard radio is obsolete with the carputer, How about mounting a CD (DVD) player in place of the standard CD (or adapting the standard) to connect to the carputer making the system look factory?
