  1. The price of progress eh DJ Kice I'd say it was worth it, looked the goods and I can only assume it sounds the goods too. Nice work!
  2. Yes, it capped off an interesting weekend quite 'well' I think. Nice to meet you all, hope the mandurah leg was smooth sailing. Not sure I liked the Bibra Lake part so much. All's well that ends well though.
  3. Same, no word though. To be honest in my case it was very last minute anyway and I'm happy with what I got in the end through my own investigations Thanks for the offer antigravity, hope all's well!
  4. lol! Jammin out with the clam out, haven't heard that one, nice! Well anyway no metro fags here so I'm sorry to disappoint ma'am This is shaping up to be an excellent weekend, better clean the goddamn brake dust off my baby (again) before we ride out eh!
  5. That and my socks, yeah! hahahahaha...I didn't have on any flanno however, so I can't really call myself a true bogan, and my hair is far too short for the complete headbanging look. But I did my best I did indeed move it move it! But with better pants than the clip to that song. Ah the mid 90's...those were the days. Erm better stay on topic...who's bringing rellies to this thing? I'll be on my lonesome for the frist time out of the gate, better draw the route in my UBD or something!
  6. Holy crap yeah, the bar had closed before the show....mate and me got there at like 9 and worked out seating etc....then no beer so back to the car for a quick VB. Not my drink of choice but it was only one since I was driving. Loved the concert. Rocked out more than most of the mosh pit I swear (was in seating). Sweated like a pig, voice is okay today and not too sore either! Looking great for tomorrow!
  7. Well Disturbed concert ruled, and see you all at the cruise sore or not...saw some reports of cloudy weather... as if!! Sun all the way for the T's and co
  8. *oooh oooh* I know: Bend you over and give it to you hard! Let's hope we don't have to come to find out eh?
  9. Yeah man I got mine for 28K, here in Perth - 37 thou on the car, no options like leather or premium audio which I would really like. I still love it to bits though - and I'll get to mod the car to what I want myself this way too which is half the fun. First up replacing the dust factory pads with some Bendix General CTs! Enjoy the car mate, I know I do every time I hop in!
  10. Cheers for the tip nang3 - I need to devote a proper day to cleaning the car with my old man. Oh and bluute - I've been reading on AFF and it looks like Bendix General CT (aka Bendix Ultra Premium at supercheap auto) are the way to go for low dust, no noise brakes. They aren't track grade though so watch out if you're regularly highly spirited, or so I gather... but looks like I'll be getting these soon. Gotta get my wheels aligned (warranty hurrah) so I might get em to stick them on at the same time if I feel lazy. PS lol at "window wipers doing hand stands"
  11. Yeah I'll head to Mandurah, haven't taken the new car that far south yet! +1
  12. Sounds good, it'll be my first forum cruise too. Looking forward to checking out the other cars, maybe get some inspiration for my very stock ride And yeah bluute hopefully the Disturbed concert on the Friday isn't tooooo hardcore hahaha...I need my feet to work the pedals!
  13. Nice pics there, never thought of taking them at the monument, and now I'll have to find another spot since it's been done Quick question - since I got my T a couple weeks ago I've noticed the huge amount of brake dust - seems to get all over the rear of the car too...it's giving me the s***s having to clean the car and especially the alloys so often. I've read the Ford ones give off truckloads and I was wondering how you guys deal with it. Better pads, or just spray em out with a hose every second day? Hahaha! Mine's ex cop so I'm assuming they left on the dust covers I've read about which do next to nothing anyway...
  14. This thread is gold of course, but the best so far has to be: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Fantastic!
  15. Ah man now I'm worried about my new T - how often does the filter need to be changed and do they do this as part of the usual servicing? Still under 2 years new car warranty...
  16. Well on short notice I managed to get RAC to insure me for a tiny bit over $1400 a year ($1500 if paid in installments >_>) - 3.5 years driving, 2 speeding tix, no prangs or suspensions etc, 24yo, 25 in Nov. They tell me it'll drop after 26, new rules blah blah. This is with a 10% new car discount and 2.5% for being a std RAC member. Might look at refinancing with them for a nice package deal as the lady on the phone suggested All in all I'm happy for now, although I'd love to get it under a grand like some of you here!
  17. Yeah it's a bit noisy, but I love my music so that tends to distract me from the noise. I'm rapidly becoming annoyed at all the bumps in the roads though, speedbumps you can't see at night as you turn into a servo and bottom out...drive through Maccas with speed bumps that scrape even though I'm going like 5Km/h...must be the fat mates hahahahaha... Guess I have to park and walk in next time - or avoid the Mc all together, I don't like their junk anyway :D But yeah, so low! Damn cheap roads >_<
  18. Excellent news! Blew some cobwebs out tonight with the old man, what a laugh! Better give it some of this TLC this weekend
  19. Thanks antigravity, I've just purchased a second hand T yesterday and while the performance is exhilarating enough as is I suspect it might need a bit of a going over...beyond what the dealer did for it over the few days it was there, hahaha. I'm printing this list Good luck turbo06x2!

Steve here - hopefully I'll have my new baby in about 2 hours from now. Excellent timing for a day off from work. See you all on the cruises hopefully!
  21. Mat, where are you located? PMing you now.
  22. The BFII T I'm picking up today (detail team willing) is allegedly an ex police booze bus tow car. The bloke who sold it to me mentioned he drove it back from the auction and it was "a bit more powerful than the rest" which I laughed at inside and chalked up to him trying to complete the sale... ...but I have seen a thread around on one of the forums about driving cars hardish to break them in, which gives much better piston ring sealing...it had a link to a site with pics of both break in styles and the hard driven ones were shiny as, the babied pistons were pretty dirty down the sides in comparison. All I know is that I'm stoked I finally am getting one :D And with 2 more years new car warranty!
  23. Shame there wasn't a GT40 or newer Ford GT there Hope that DVD gets to you soon!
  24. 2023 here for my Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.0GHz). All I really use it and my 8800GT video card for is playing Race Driver GRID lately, not as much gaming time as I used to have in Uni.... PS force feedback steering wheels rule!
