Thx Guys, you would not believe it, I have tried the reset 2 or 3 times with no luck, this time I held the on/off button in for over a minute and guess what, I got a beep and all is good now, book said farken 5seconds, 5seconds my . Even the fraud service centre tried the 5second rule with no luck, just a freak thing I guess.

Yer I tried the reset, it has made no diff, anybody got any other tricks?

Spotted Dark Blue BF (I think) phoon in Carramar plates "JIM something", big front mount and rear twin exhaust, sounded and looked nice.

Hey all, Just a quickie, I have the factory colour screen in a BF-T and it has stopped showing any information, when I turn change the volume, any fan or vent settings it comes back on for about 5 seconds then turns back off. Any idea's??

Nice Buy, Good coinage for what’s been done to it, nicely done. It’s got a whole lot of potential, with all that suspension and brakes it’s more a circuit racer than a straight liner, no good having +400-500rwkw if you break out cornering and bang it up. But playing Devils advocate, I have looked into this, weighing up to mod or not, it’s a BA, low k’s yes, modded to the hilt with big $$$ spent yes, but, if it was to get written off, is the insurance company going to pay up? I know Shannon’s wont insure a heavily modded car without it carrying engineering certificates and it having the licensing passed as it is, with all the modds. Red book value on a 03 BA is $16-18k, could you live with losing that much $$? Myself, I have decided to upgrade to the F6 in 2010, 310kw is enough for me, only modded “T” will beat it and an occasional other car, I can live with another “T” beating it where all in the same family.

I had the car without the stripes for a while and although I think Bionic is one of the more in your face colours, there is just to much of it and needed some breaking up, the GT's & P achieve a good look having the stripes and I wanted something different so its just not another Bionic XR6. everyone got an opinion, like it or not.

Yep, I do like different non factory additions to badging, I have put a turbo badge just above the XR6 badge on the side skirt, IMO it looks good.

Hi All I finally fitted the F6 wing & boot lid I bought from Bosco a few weeks back, I tried to take the badges off my old boot lid and had no luck keeping the stick stuff to reuse them, so I’ve left them off for now. I’ve had a few comments that it looks better without the badges, thought I would put it out there to see what others think. Badges or not?

I wasn't making any type of statement about towing, just something that stuck in my head from the Dealer. Car looked good, I did notice it was lower than normal, I passed you going the opposite way around Carramar in a Bionic T, its fairly stock looking ATM, so it doesn't stand out in a crowd.

I recently had Ford do warranty on the rear end of the car, they replaced all the bushes and stub axels both sides, would this work cause something like that to happen? It’s only been 6-7 weeks since getting the car back. If so, I agree it's a big job, TFG I've still got an extended warranty. I’ve been underneath the car for a thorough look with flood light, found oil around, but I still can’t find exactly were its coming from.

Yer I didn't mention its a 06 BF with an auto 6speed box.

Hi All, Went for a fairly long drive on Saturday, when it reached 40Deg, was not pushing the car much only every so often to overtake. So I get home that arvo and left the car for a hour or so then went to go out to the shops, as I was backing out the drive I notice a few spots on the carport floor, so I get out give it a rub then a smell, farkin diff oil. I get the ramps out back her onto them get underneath and can’t find any signs of a leak, so I clean up the oil and off I go. Any way get home yesterday and move the car to give it a wash and fark me the oil spots are there again, almost clear oil with some spots darker than others, so out come the stands up she goes again and nothing to be seen, smells like diff oil just no signs of residue anywhere but the floor, its got me stumped. So today I went for a test drive and could hear a slight rubbing noise echoing from underneath the car when just rolling with a wall beside the car, so I come home to investigate, get out of the car and can now smell burning oil, up she goes and there’s farkin nothing there, I can see it on the floor, now smell it burning but can’t see a thing. Any offers of advice would be appreciated.

When I got the dealers options list for the then BF falcon, it has all the models and options listed, I notice, not that I wanted it, the towing options listed all the falcon models except the XR6 turbo and phoon, when I asked the dealer said they don’t recommend towing with either vehicle as they have to much torque and could damage what you where towing. But you know dealers, they don’t know their cars, they just sell them. I guess you can fit a XR6 towing kit I see no difference, just what I was told.

Spotted a nice Black BF T, this afternoon, was towing a zodiac boat down Wanneroo Road near Carramar. Thought Ford recommended not towing with the T’s that why they won’t sell tow bar kits from factory, not that I want to tow anything, I'm just babbling.

Looks good close up, you passed me on the freeway the other day, then I followed you for a few k's, I was driving my other Ford, bloody Transit at least it a turbo aswell. Nice pictures, Ocean Reef marina?? Rims look good just needs some red stuff in them. Sounded sweet what muffler you running on the back, looks like the WRX/Skyline style?

Spotted a badge less Black BA phoon with XR8 bonnet and aftermarket rear lights at Merriwa BP, sounded nice taking off.

I have had the cops do the same thing to me, only it was the first night driving I had done after buying the car and didn’t realise that the little dash symbol was for the driving lights, I tried to explain this to him but he was a freshy out of the academy and knew it all. I got a $100 fine but no demerit points, so next day I went down to the cop shop explained the situation and they cancelled the fine, he said the boys in blue had better things to do and would take it up with them, he also mentioned that it is not exactly illegal to have them on, but he advise I should limit the use of them. Anyway if you’re not allowed to use them why the fark let the cars be licensed or sold with them in the first place, theres not alot a fog where I live and fog lights should have yellow globes not white, so are they really classified as fog lights???? My manual refers to them as driving lights, go figure.
