Is that the price now the govt. has increased the tax on cars over 57k or is that extra to come

Got mine 28th June 07 new had 11ks on it now has over 16,000k's on it Have driven from Gold Coast to Ballarat and back via Wagga Wagga been good, nice and fun to drive good economy on the big trip love the power Mrs has a Getz and I laugh every time I have to drive it ...... Like the new body kit. I think I got the last one with 17" wheels and std sound system :( But atleast I got the trade I wanded in my 99 bmw 318i with 220,000 ks on it

Got pulled over last night by highway patrol went thru orange light a little fast, got out and spoke to police man , who was in F6 Typhoon pursuit car, He showed me the brakes brembro's and we had a talk on the performance of both vehicles and I was breath tested.. and off he went (rather fast) So I think the Turbo both got me pulled over and also got me into a pleasing conversation which ended up not costing me a $ So was happy.... Will put lotto ticket in this weekend they I may have a Phoon of my own :-) SO I reckon always get out and try to be polite.. can pay off

Have had my XR6T for more than month now. Have been enjoying its performance but have been wondering about the capa box with a generic tune for my car. Is A BF mk 2 '07 Turbo with 6spd auto.. All I want to do is plug in and upgrade not change any timings on spark plugs etc... what sort of performance should I expect? 0-100 times 1/4 mile etc... from the latest motor mag review of the BF mk 2 has 0-100 as 5.8sec 14 sec 1/4 mile would like to see if it is worth mucking with my w'tee

I bought a BF mk2 XR6T on 28th of june. Had to trade in my 1999 BMW 318i got a resonable deal which I am sure was because the new 18" Premium sound , climate control were coming.. but hey I got the deal I wanted. A mate has a new ES falcon with the dual climate and premium sound. And I don't really care that much about either. Sure it would be nice to have 18" instead of 17" wheels except when replacing tyres.. I was just glad I got the payout on my BMW and a little extra to bring the turbo price down.. If I paid cash and the price would be the same between the 2 I would be a little bit more annoyed.

Just Had my 3000k check over.. So I obviously have an 07 BF Mk2 XR6T... with 6spd auto like the power but would like a little more Like the idea of a CAPA flash tuner... has anyone had experience with the BF mk2 and the flasher.. Hoping for plug in press a button add 50kw or so it this right ? Do I have to change plugs etc.. Talked to ford about CAI and they reckon my car has the bigger intake already it this right? I also belive I have the Typhoon engine pretty much ?? the car is my daily driver so needs to be 1 Reliable and 2 Semi- Economical -) thanks

I Don't even think a T needs to be edited to beat an XR8 With the new t's anyway are quicker than the XR8's

From the Motor Review as a New 07 BF Mk2 XR6T owner I was happy with the 0-100 time 5.8secs is faster that I thought was thinking around 6ish ... But think like everyone else the lap time was a typo.. with a capa box in 3 secs I could beat any car in the review anyway.. just waithing till the are not detectable as I still have a LOT of warranty to get through... Would have like to see the F6 in the lineup other than force 6, would have been more interesting.. But the biggest shame is that the I6 line is coming to an end... That they didn't bother having an XR8 in the Line up says that Ford Australias Best Performers are Aussie Made I6 Turbo'd cars.. Ford Aust should just up the KW for the XR6T and F6's and if we can EASY get a extra 50kw Flywheel increase safely then imagine if FORD would offer a Factory Warranted Flash giving us an extra say 35kw taking the BF XR6T to 280kw for $500 .... and a retune of the ZF auto.. I would happily pay.. :-) and keep my W'tee aswell this would set the cat amoungst the pigeons and would be a real boon for Ford in customer relations.. Would Like to see a 280kw XR6T vs a 270kw VE SS Bang for Buck.. yeeha.. People who don't care don't spend the $500.. PPL who want bragging rights easy decision.. C'mon ford Got $500 waiting to give to my local dealer for 3seconds work...

Hey if more ppl were like us and bought XR6T's we would not be in this position.. it is all the others that are the problem.. If there were more of Us there would be no problem everyone would have an I6 :-( why isn't everybody like us
