So I have a system comms fault that comms up whilst I am driving... when this happens the car will usually continue to accelerate even with my foot off the accelerator, or when slowing down and pushing the clutch in the car will start to rev or the revs surge.. If I turn the ignition off and back on the fault resets but generally comes back soon after.. anyone know what this could be? I am thinking maybe a TPS issue... It used to happen once in a blue moon now it happens every time I drive it more than 15 minutes..

have you been beating up on it? when my oil pressure light came on it was due to my oil pump gears being smashed from some limiter bashing on a track day...

who in here has a monsta torque stage 2 engine? what power are you currently making with it? I know it all depends on your supporting mods, im just curious to what people are pulling with their stage 2 engine as I am contemplating making the jump... Cheers

So I am looking at getting an engine built. I am aiming for around the 550rwkw mark, I currently have 450rwkw with an unopened engine besides valve springs. Would I be able to safely achieve these numbers with a short block or would I be safer getting a long block built? Is anyone running a spool short block? Any issues with them? Or should I save a bit more cash and get Simon from xft to build it? What sort of dollars have people paid for a built short block? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Cheers

So I need to do me suspension bushes and me diff bush.. Who should I go see and what prices would I be looking at roughly? WA suspensions fitted my coil overs so I was thinking of using them again. Need to get em sorted ASAP preferably before power cruise! Cheers guys

Cheers Steve, yea I spoke to the boys down at mt and my plan is to chuck on the Intercooler kit and retune then do the exhaustt, valve springs, then turbo upgrade to the precision 6466, and set up the fuel system for e85.. Was hoping to have it done before powercruise but that's not looking likely now. Anyone got a lazy 10k laying around?

Hey guys I just wanna pick your brains while I am here! So at the moment my fg f6 has injectors and tune, I have ordered a plazmaman stage 3 I/c kit with the 4in air intake, I am about to book it in for an exhaust and retune.. Now I need help with the turbo... Do I go with the flapper mod n porting or spend the extra and go for the turbo upgrade? I am aiming for about 400rwkw once I run valve springs and do the fuel system but I dont really want to push past 450 because I dont want to be rebuilding the gearbox or replacing cvs if I dont have to! Cheers

So a couple of weeks ago I rung up Monsta Torque on a Tuesday and seen when would be the earliest I could get the pig in for some minor tweeks. Darren said Rob will be back on the weekend so bring it down and they will sort it out while I was away for the weekend. When I picked up the car on monday morning I had a chat with Rob and pointed out a few minor issues that they sorted out before putting her on the dyno and talked about future mods and the different directions we could go. Rob then tells me the car was pulling 287rkw stock @ 13.9 psi, they then fitted the bosch 1000cc injectors and retuned my old girl and she ran up 316rwkw @ 15.5 psi and jumped nearly 100nm of torque to 852nm.. The car is much more responsive and pulls alot harder. I feel it pulls harder than my old ba xr6 turbo ute that was tuned by another tuner and had 366rwkw and 880nm.. Now its time to put some pennies in the bank and aim for the 400+ rwkw on 98... I would highly reccomend Monsta Torque. The best customer service I have had from a performance workshop.. Cheers

Driver Steve! The ute looked plain just tinted windows no tonneau or hard cover or anything, the only mod I could see was an aftermarket orange rope flapping around in the tub

Hey everyone! I'm looking at getting the DJR Bobtail for the f6. Now just a couple of questions - Being fibreglass is it a good solid product? Does it use the same holes that the standard spoiler uses? Any fitting issues? And 1 for the WA guys has anyone had a bobtail fitted at the spoiler shop? We're they any good? Cheers

Spotted another FG F6 this arvo about 2 - 2.30 on the kwinana freeway southbound. Navy blue plate started with 1EES. I was in the Silhoutte F6!

So here is an average pic of the new rig! Plenty of mods to be done before I am a happy man! But pretty stoked to be the proud owner of her still!

So I am finally the proud new owner of an FG F6! Its a 2010 manual sedan with only 14k on the clock and it's in immaculate condition! The only sh*t thing is that I'm stuck up at work for another 9 days! I will post some pics when I get home and pick her up!
