  6. Hi all, apologies if this question has been addressed before, I have had a good trawl through the forum and have not seen a definitive answer on this so thought I would post it here. Can someone please confirm an offset for the fronts of an FG which will be safe from rubbing on the inner suspension uprights if running a 20 x 8.5 with a 245/35/20 tyre? I am having issues on my car with the fronts rubbing on the suspension uprights at the moment. The rims are Lenso's and are 20 x 8.5 with +40 offset. The rubbing only occurs when turning whilst going over kerbs and small bumps in the road, eg out of driveways / low speed corners etc. I have read that perhaps the +40 offset on the fronts with the 35 profile on a 20" rim brings it too close to the upright. Just wanting to know an offset for the fronts which will solve this rubbing problem as it is bloody frustrating! The car is a 2010 FG G6E Turbo and aside from the rims the only other mod it has is lovells sport low springs all round. Cheers

    The Break Up

I know exactly how you feel mate, just beginning to see the light now after breaking up with first serious girlfriend of two years a couple of months back. Nothin but good times and then all of a sudden she wants to be single and go travelling. Less then 3 weeks later after breaking up I find out shes started banging a mate of mine who ive known for the best part of 10 years, who lives not far from me. Safe to say he isnt a mate of mine anymore! Hard for me too coz we both live and grown up in a fairly small town and have the same friends so its hard to avoid bumping in to the pair of mugs nearly every weekend. Like it has been said many times already women can be very nasty pieces of work, for now you just have to get out there and have fun with the boys and try to spear whatever comes your way! I would dearly love to go one of her mates but none of them are as heartless as she is, and its not worth stooping to that level. Lesson learned is that you have to enjoy it while its there, and keep your chin up and move on when its not. Hope all goes well for you mate
  8. should get a chance to take some pics over the long weekend, will whack one up when I can silver looks good too- those momos on that link look choice also. Any one know if you can get the corse RPM in anything bigger then 18? I couldnt afford, but they would look really good in silver or black in 20 imo.
  9. As far as rim sizes - I know they are available in 17 and 18 (only from info in the motor mag and on the website) - unsure about anything bigger. Reckon they would look really good in 19 or 20 but not sure if available? Rim weight - the rims arrived yesterday and I got one out of the box to have a look and they do feel light - cant say how much exactly they weigh but, didnt get a chance to weigh them before they went to the tyre shop. getting tyres put on the rims today so I will be putting them on the T prob after work tomorrow - looking forward to seeing how they look. the writing on the lip of the rim (momo corse) is actually pressed into the metal - looks neat I reckon. cheers
  10. funny you should mention - just purchased a set of those exact rims last week, waiting impatiently for them to arrive from melbourne. saw them in the latest motor mag and thought they would look sweet - proud new owner of a bionic bf xr6T 6spd auto. got them from autotek, can view on website www.autotek.com.au. that is the price I paid, will see how they look when they arrive and I eventually get around to fitting them.
