  1. Hello guys has anyone tried xyz suspension. It's available for my territory on eBay I'm thinking of buying it.?? Love some feedback
  2. Ok I know the rear has the standard rear calipers, either single piston of twin piston. Do you think that upgrading to a 4 pot rear would be a bigger advantage than the. 6 pot fronts? I'm already running castrol Srf brake fluid and I'm looking into braided lines. I have been told by numerous ppl that there isn't that much difference between the 6 and 4 pots mainly because the pads are the same size anyway. So for me I think adding 4 pot rear, braided lines , some half decent rotors and good pads will work out unless I'm told otherwise
  3. Great thanx for that. I'm running the castrol Srf brake fluid. I was hoping to do a few track days but I wouldnt dream of using then on the track. I cook them on the street. My xr6 turbo ute brakes about the same, if not better, so I guess I'm not too happy with the brakes on the f6. So braided lines and some good disks. Have you heard much about the TRW pads?
  4. Hi guys does anybody know if I can fit my front 4 pot brembo calipers of my F6 FG to the rear? As I would like to replace my front calipers with 6 pots. I understand that pads and disks will make a difference, but if I would have know they had 6 pots available I would have ordered the car with them, dealer never told me and I never bothered to ask
  5. Its in the sales book unless ford made a mistake.......??
  6. Ok now im really lost. Picked up mu xr t ute I have done a few ks now. Thought I might as well see how she goes against my Fg F6. There must be something wrong with the F6 or the Xr t is something special. the only thing I can think of is ratios. Now the F6 runs a 2.73 rear and the Xr t runs a 3.73 rear. But having said that they sit on the same rpm at 100 ks. I have seen some magazines quoting some good numbers for the Xr t but im still lost. They both weigh about the same. They are both auto. Does anybody know if the trans is different between them. Or is the turbo in the Xr t that much better for getting of the line....?? Would love to hear some feed back
  7. Hey guys, Just landed the new FG F6 really happy so far . Updated my Ba Xr6 t. Now I m looking at a Bf MK 2 ute Xr6t to hot up a bit. Who is the best guy in melb to work on it. Also were is the best place for some diff gears , apparantly the F6 comeswith 2.70 ratio which is pritty good in first gear cause its so low, but after that I think a gear change would benefit. Does any one think its a good/bad idea.??
