  1. Ezy10z Posted on Jun 23 2004, 03:04 PM I'm not 100% sure but I believe I read a post about the Nizpro T having a rev limit of 7500rpm ??? yeah I think it did and probably had a fair amount of pressure forced down it's neck. I think that if have decent internals, correct tuning and remember why engines with long strokes don't last. then monitoring the situation and should be fine and it should handle 7500 reasonbly well. any engine can break any time and usually turns to poo anyway. and most of the reasons why you get a rod out the side is not the rods fault anyway.
  2. the prototype has a 5 speeder, well that's what it says in the blueprint mag. it's probably wishful thinking that you'll get 6 speeder because there trying to keep costs down to actually sell them. any one know what the recomended torque handling is of the xr8 box?
  3. it might just be your ecu with the black oak thinking that the motor is pumping out more power than it's supposed too or it maybe thinks your simulating dyno pulls on it as well.
  4. I think you guys are missing the point. yes it would be good to have a car that puts out it's full potential but there are problems for manurfactures to conquer to do that. Power wholy doesn't sell cars look at the ss to the clubby? it wouldn't be that bad with some good mags, better body kit and some other acc. turbo6man what happened to your box ? cuse I got one of the them. Aren't they also in the Ba xr8?
  5. the "friend of a friend stage 6 " will eventually happen I'd be betting but it could well be a long time. though I'm no expert austalia's technians might take awhile to get to that figure with in a "streetable" sense. but it will help get a relatively new phenomon drift racing going "in australia" which is good. but you gotta a realise that these things would get beaten by a little 3 cyl every time if it wasn't on it's hair line power band.
  6. Guys I think (not sure haven't seen mag) the 6 is in perth cause a mate was going on about it and that the blower that's on it is a sprintex supercharger (twin screw blower) where as the capa one is a centrifugal one. which a few people might start going to but there not cheap.
  7. Something bit different read it on streetmachine and enjoy reading it
