What a difference a single fitting can make! Honestly no idea why I didn't think of looking for a fitting like this in the first place 🤦‍♂️

yeah, pretty confident it has the better rods... who knows how long it was like that, but it seems likely that they popped the motor and then sold it to get rid of it and in the process of putting in the motor they left the hose off the wastegate.

If you run it on gate it'll be fine. It will be marginally slower to come on boost. The pcm will be doing stuff in the background trying to control it but it doesn't matter. Just make sure your desired boost table is set a few psi higher than the actual boost. At this stage if you can't dial in the factory boost control you may as well chuck a boost tee in there or an aftermarket ebc. I wouldn't be doing that myself but sometimes you're stuck with what you've got. Pm me your tune file and some logs of super cold weather and normal weather and I'll have a look for you. Make sure at least part of the logs has some wot. Aside from that tell your tuna to remove some duty from the cooler part of the wg map. It needs less duty when the air is denser. I reckon this will be the issue.

Dropped the kids off at school this morning and as they were getting their bags from the boot I shared a giant fart with them. Apparently the fart wasn't ready to leave home cos it was waiting for me in full force when I got back in the car

Went in my territory twice. First time I had 500awkw and smashed everybody, second time had 700awkw and the trans broke 2 seconds into the first run. First time had heaps of fun though. Will be heading back out there later in the year with 700awkw again and hopefully have a better time. It's a bit boring being a spectator and it's a heck of a drive from my house, so will only be heading out there to drive.
