  7. Lift your game Keef. Yeah, just go to an exhaust shop and ask for a straight through muffler that fits and will be reasonably quiet. Probably better than a half rusted stock one from 2006 anyway.

  8. Plenty of us on this forum know about replacing the middle muffler... not sure why you'd say no Ford owners would know about it??? Nobody bothers replacing the mid muffler with anything other than either a straight pipe or a hotdog muffler as people want the extra resonance that this cheap and easy modification entails... since you've discovered you don't like the extra resonance then you are trying to go back to stock or a more muffling-muffler, which is why you're asking for advice. Of course you can now say my post was pointless by adding further information... good one. How was I to know you'd already tried all the wreckers and there's absolutely not a single turbo territory exhaust in all of the wreckers across the country or any of the exhaust shops across your local area... 🙄 Venom as a company are probably suffering from covid-related delays like most businesses who import stuff from China or they never bothered to have a middle-muffler as a separate product as most people get an aftermarket dump+cat specifically for performance reasons and this is their XR6T related bread and butter product. If you're having so much trouble getting a stock exhaust replacement, just get a reasonably quiet muffler installed that fits in that position of which almost any generic muffler manufacturer can supply.

  9. yeah, ford spare parts only sell that whole assembly in the link in my first post in this thread... you can get aftermarket replacement lines that go from the bottom of the reservoir/pump to the steering rack, without replacing the other half of the line, which was what I did last time I had this power steering leak... I've never seen people replace just the o-ring and have it be successful in the stock line; but I believe there's an aftermarket line that allows you to service the o-ring successfully, I just don't have the details on hand.

  10. I’ve ran a BF2 till the engine stopped and never seen that light but was still recording 13kms to empty when it stopped Previously I’ve seen fuel levels as low as 0kms to empty and still no secondary light

  14. So yeah driving around and it felt like a fuel surge issue. Figured I'd better fill er up and hot dang it I got 74.3 litres into it. Doesn't the territory have a 75 litre fuel tank?! I'd better fix that fuel gauge lol! In other news I'm gonna swap the plugs this weekend, give the injectors a clean and change the fuel filter. Might even chuck a sticker on it, should be good for an extra 30hp at least

  15. Yerp there was a reason I went for a large custom exhaust instead of an off the shelf item. Yeah pretty much just get it loaded in 4th as early as possible, floor it to the detent and let it rip. Sometimes I'll hold it for longer if I want to see what the fuel is doing there. Fuel seems to be still good. The sender is being a dick but apart from that it's all good.

  17. Every degree makes a difference and it's very noticeable atdc. I had to pull the timing out due to the increased boost pressure. This is something that you do anyway but in my case I was already running very close to the maximum timing for the boost pressure so any more boost made it knock. Pulling timing out makes it boost creep more but knock is much worse hence the lowered timing.
