  6. Oh ok looks like Typical CHRA rotation for oil/water both in and out wonder why I thought it was rotated differently on the TT’s 🤔 Give that another actuator a full 3/4- full hole preload and go for gold Nath 525 can supply around 460-470 on its own with 14v and 12.0 AFR

  7. Did a workout this afternoon after a bit of shed/equipment prep. It's a one month pre conditioning program with light weights. It's to get the technique back and allow time for the body to get ready for heavy stuff. I was thinking about the fact that so many people can't use the gym and here I am not using my equipment for whatever reason. That's what got me started. Feels good man

  11. So I've been chasing my tail with an intermittent misfire. The obvious culprits are the plugs and coils. Replaced the spark plugs with new ones and swapped over the coils with a spare set from the original SZ NA engine. Problem went away for around 30 minutes.......and then it came back. Ok, cant confirm if the coils are the problem because they're not new. Ordered a set of new genuine coils and installed them yesterday. Drove ok for around 30 minutes.....and then the misfire came back. Right, maybe the coil driver in the PCM is rooted. In July, I wired up the Eboost controller to the positive feed on coil #6 and blew that coil up as soon as it started. See post #10. Lesson there, don't follow the instructions. You can't hard wire the rpm pickup from the Eboost to the wiring harness on the SZ. Anyway, this morning the intermittent misfire became permanent which was good, as it made trouble shooting easier. Turns out the plug to the #6 coil was making intermittent contact with the pins. Wiggling it around while the engine was running could make the misfire come and go. Cut the farker off and soldered on a spare unit I had from an old engine harness. Presto, misfire gone. After checking the calibration for hours, spending hours and countless $$$$ on parts it ends up being something obscure like a dodgy plug. Cars I tell ya... Going to check out a 2014 Terri diesel AWD wreck on Monday. Eyeing up the complete front end K frame with all suspension, driveshafts and the complete 3.46 rear end for the AWD conversion.

  12. You really are a simple Khunt hey As Per your question @Zlat347 I tuned a Fully built Engine ( but capped at 30 psi build ) & 6R80 FG ute to 24.5 psi with a 6boost GTX3584rs 1.21 50mm Turbosmart Gate with plumb back to 517rwkw with “some” wheel spin on a new Mainline AWD Chassis Dyno comes on like nothing else but I place bets it could pip 530-540 on a ProHub no worries DynoPack Hub would read 650 lol and that’s no BS

  18. Previous owner said it's an original PW stage 2 but unsure, I trust him on that though. It's fairly big but haven't got the front bumper off yet to measure it. Very similar to the Rapid cooler size (thicker I think?). IAT's are generally 10-12°C above ambient and ambient temp was 29 when I last drove the car. It's generally after I've driven to the shops (coolant only gets to 70 at most on the trips from home) and parked the car for 20+mins then start it back up. IAT's are at 45°C from then and unless I give it a squirt on the trip home (60km zone) it'll stay at 42-44 regardless. This seems to be the case even when the ambient temp is colder around 24... Thermostat is an 80 or 82 and fans come on at 82 and off at 80, trans stays at or below 80 with the stock heat exchanger still. I've built an air filter box out of corflute atm before I settle on design and thought it was because the SS hot side goes through this area that it was holding the heat but I wrapped it in "quality" silver insulation air bubblewrap from hello fresh (food delivery mob) and it made no difference which I'm glad I didn't exhaust wrap it first now! Summer heat will come soon as the temp is all over the place atm so if it goes to 60°C like it was without the airbox then I'll have to keep testing.

  23. Got to the dyno today and it went pretty much as I expected. The exhaust showed to be a huge restriction but we all knew that anyway. The first run right off the bat showed 367awkw on 16psi and after a bit of fiddling it went 427awkw at 21psi. The wgdc was at 85% and briefly flicked to 100% a couple of times so didn't bother pushing it further. So yerp, zorst is needed and possibly a stiffer actuator but overall I'm pretty happy for now. Haha it's quite quick at 21psi but I reckon it'll get turned down until I do the zorst. Happy days

  24. These were supplied with the transmission adapter kit, 10.9 on the bolt head so just a metric grade 8. Planning on using ARP stuff now that they are out, which ill be getting too in the next post, to answer your balancer question. So it happened, I talked to the engine builder and it is currently at this shop torn apart. He is extremely excited about this build too say the least. Took me 25 mins took disconnect everything with my buddies help, and load it into the truck. So time too prep for some paint in the bay, and powder coat the suspension stuff, while I wait. Wish me luck.
