  1. It's our way of knowing that K31th hasn't succumbed to the virus yet. If it gets to 11:30 and he hasn't checked in we'll send the Hazmat team to his house

  2. Productive morning! So one of the goals with this car is to get the interior tidy and up to scratch. It was a smokers car and even after weeks of leaving the windows open, it still just didn't smell nice. Manky, dirty and just musky. Almost like 200,000km of peoples body juice has just soaked into every part of the interior. Sit in it and it just feel gross. Started with getting the seats, parcel shelf and most of the interior plastic trims bits. The plastic trim bits I plan to clean up and paint in black. Nothing special just want everything to blend in nice and look factory but clean. I gave the carpet a mini vacuum and them pulled it out and vacuumed the floor. I think I'll hit it with a rag and some wax and grease to really lift some of the crud. Seat belts off for a mega clean up too. There's a guy on marketplace flogging fpv interior and a f6 interior. Im tempted, very tempted..

  3. Could even put it in the "Donating Members Lounge" so you need to be a donating member to get the "Good Morning" post. Would be a great incentive/bonus for new members to donate a couple of dollars

  6. Gave the belts a really good clean and then wiped them down with a rag to almost damp. Rag was still manky... So in the tub they go for a good soak. Right one is 'clean' and left one is untouched. They should be even better after the soak. Also gave the scuff plates and kick panels a proper clean. These bits I will hit with some adhesion promoter and black paint.

  7. My Repco shafts are at least 10mm to long for aftermarket wheels. Standard wheels they are fine.

  8. Yeah the need to be cut down for aftermarket wheels. Just heavily deburr the ends to not damage the pack nut when fitting it. Always use a new nut as well. Can do them individualy if only doing axles. Same amount of work either side. Need a deep 36mm socket

  9. I know what you mean but cos it's there every morning I think of it as a general greeting rather than a conversation starter. When I open the forum on the unread content page, if I see your 'good morning' in the preview of the OT topic then as a rule I don't bother to open it but as a result sometimes overlook other stuff So yeh mix it up
