  5. Few more things done, feels like I'm going around in circles at this stage.. But still worth pushing on! Two dents fixed up on the passenger from door. Might do one more skim of filler and should be sweet. Started repairs on the bumpers too but ran out of plastic filler. Doesn't look like much but over spent a fair sack of time sanding.

  10. yeah, not cheap... you probably only need a CHRA and you can get those off ebay for around 1k.

  11. generally you get what you pay for with regard to ebay... if you pay close-ish to the retail price for an OEM turbo, then usually it's just an OEM on-seller of some sort... if it's less than half the price it's usually cheap crap. oil feed lines are fine to just purchase whichever one says it matches your car and you like the style of.

  14. So stock with a k&n panel in standard airbox made 258rwkw and now iv done atomic valve springs, atomic tool steel head studs with oversize washers, atomic new forged oil pump, pw stg 2 ic, 3582 Garrett turbo with .70 comp housing, turbo smart external gate plumbed back in under car, 4 inch steam pipe dump, no cat, 4 inch exhaust up to 3inch flange under the car, 1050cc injectors, kpm 700hp intank pump with higher flow fuel regulator, breather and pcv holes drilled out to 14mm and no pcv now, both pipes go to a catch can that breathes to under the car so no fumes coming into cabin, intune motorsport ic piping kit that had to be modified to fit, stock crossover with muffler delete and airbox with k&n panel. 50mm hole drilled in front bottom of airbox. B&m engine and trans coolers mounted behind right side fog light, fogs taken out and mesh put in hole, derale sandwich block with thermostat to plumb engine oil cooler. Car made 414rwkw at 18psi on dynapack hub dyno but we pulled it back to 15psi 382rwkw to be kinder to driveline and pistons, I love how it goes now, lights up the tires in 2nd gear in dry, it is almost as quiet as stock on cruising and sounds boss when boosting, I might do the ims twin Bush diff hat next.

  15. did a bios update which always makes me nervous in case of a power loss/brown out but all good and very impressed with the outcome hopefully things will get even better next bios update when I first built this PC in October 2019 I ran a couple of benchmarks and was happy with the results cos it beat my old Intel® Core™ i7-3930K by 1 ½ times faster my Cinebench R20 score was 1572 After reading a lot of recommendations concerning the X570 motherboard platform, everyone was saying to get the latest bios update from the motherboards website, so I did here are my new results: Cinebench R20 all cores: Cinebench R20 single core: here are some reference scores from December 2019: I'm impressed with the improvement, and looks like there is still room for more my CPU smashes the single core bench, but looks a bit lacking in multi-threaded test

  17. Little bit more done today... I've nearly finished feathering out the peeling clear. Will start to turn my attention to getting the few dings sorted next. So much sanding and much more to go!
