I considered building a new PC, but decided on a gaming laptop instead (MSI GT80 Titan - SLI Dual 980m). Comparable performance with the benefits of portability..

I called FPV Joe today and he suggested that I try connecting a scan tool. He wasn't particularly optimistic about the success rate, but I will give it a shot. Joe also recommended that I contact ASL Logistics and discuss my problem with them. I called ASL and they stated that they could reprogram the ACM (Audio control module), which will remove the security code issue. ASL suggested that I send the ACM only (Not the whole ICC) and quoted $90 plus return freight. I am SO relieved that the issue can be rectified and that it is a simple fix.. Well, I know what I'll be doing late this arvo (removing the ICC)..... Thanks to all that replied. Your input and advice is greatly appreciated. Picked up this XR50T a couple of months ago after asking a few questions on here. Then I got it registered in vic with some black and white plates. Tint next Lowered on pedders Few more mods to come. Biggest of them being sunroof tomorrow, boss bonnet and G6E lip in the next two weeks. Happy days.

most definitely water cooled you've already got custom water happening It would be a crime not to put your GPU in the loop since I went to liquid cooling, I would never go back to air for my personal gaming rig everything runs cooler = everything lasts longer (theoretically) running Project cars 2 with all settings maxed out and running OBS Studio with 2 web cams on another monitor live streaming to Twitch at 1080 and I still only see 50° C max temp for GPU and about 48° on the CPU

Nah, client site visit. My new job is essentially tech support and training for a mining specific software package, so went out to site to check up on some issues they were having - so checking hardware, drivers, settings etc...all the fun things.

Ended up with an RTX2080 for a very good price from computer wholesaler. I was throwing up between the RTX2080 and a 1080TI but this RTX was cheaper. Terrible time to be buying graphics cards... Now my CPU is struggling to keep up. Any suggestions for a new case? looking at getting a 9900K + Z390 + DDR4 + new CPU waterblock in next month or two. Also should I put the card on water? it'll cost like $250 for a block and backplate.

Then there's the fleabay or scumtree 2nd hand lucky dip, as always you can either get a top deal or a turd. Throw some pics up of your f6e when you get a chance.

what are you on about, lol how could your post have disappeared? it's all here... either way, new games come out often enough, just buy what piques your interest.

I had my car tuned at Gentech. The guy who tuned mine was kit. They did an awesome job on it and I'd recommend them anyway for a tune. As Bellato said, we're heading out for a cruise on the 3rd or March (correct me if I'm wrong haha). So you should read up on the spotted in Canberra for more deetsmon that. You should come !
